What do you mean - #fraud all the way as well as the lies to go with it? We are disgusted with you. The debt we're in, the wars you are pursuing on behalf of your own interests, completely ignoring us. You have turned Britain into an indebted laughing stock.

Labour and the Tories opened the floodgates to millions of migrants from across the world. Reform will achieve net negative migration, deport every illegal migrant and reverse this madness. End of.

EXC: Inside Andy Burnham’s strategy to reverse Brexit 💫 “He thinks the right thing to do is go back to the European Union. Whether that’s doable or not is another question. But I think the prevailing wind is with us so let’s see how far we can push the envelope,” an ally said 💫Burnham sees it as both an economic boon and a vote winner 💫Burnham’s overtures to the EU have been described by European diplomats variously as “a love letter,” “courageous,” a “bunch of flowers” and “divorcees getting back together”. 💫There is a sense of rewarding good behaviour from previously recalcitrant, sulky Brits. “We are now very keen to make the summit a success,” one European diplomat said of the Nov 20 meeting. 💫 Concerns grow over EU plans to delay a decision on tuition fees beyond the summit: "they could zing us afterwards" 💫Post-summit Burnham speech planned to set out next steps on Europe, designed to dovetail with the 10-year-plan 💫Former Cabinet minister warns Burnham EU will only take the UK seriously about re-joining after a referendum, not if measures are only in Labour's manifesto 💫 Concerns the EU could apply a rejoining levy on the UK as payment for messing them about 💫Cabinet dismay at re-opening debate 💫BUT @robfordmancs says there is danger in being overly frightened of a debate on rejoining. 💫“Brexit is like a pufferfish in a David Attenborough nature documentary.  It puffs itself up to appear more frightening than it is. The Leave-supporting media the inflation mechanism: any mention of it and they freak out and shout betrayal. But Labour MPs and Cabinet ministers who take the pufferfish seriously are in danger of giving it more credibility than it deserves,” he said. Read the full piece here: inews.co.uk/news/politics/bu…

Labour unveils cost of living boost that could save households a whopping £1.75 a month Chancellor John Healey has announced tariff cuts on more than 100 everyday products including marmalade, baked beans and chocolate wafers. The measures are expected to save households up to £21 a year or about £1.75 a month when combined with earlier cuts. Wow......are you excited?

Labour simply aren’t serious about tackling the crisis of violence against women and girls. This week it seems they will get the hard-pressed British taxpayer to fork out £15m to fund projects to tackle the “manosphere”. 3.2 million women experienced sexual assault, domestic abuse or stalking last year in England and Wales alone. Rapes are at a record high. Women across the country are fearing for their safety from illegal migrant men descending on their communities. Not a single woman and girl is going to feel safer with this total waste of public money. theguardian.com/society/2026…

The Courts and Tribunals Bill goes before peers in the House of Lords today, and the Prime Minister is expected to face a rebellion from Labour peers. Good. This Government, like Sir Keir Starmer’s, is pressing ahead with plans to curtail our right to a jury trial. It is a sinister, authoritarian assault on our criminal justice system and English liberty — particularly on free speech. FSU research has shown that people charged with speech offences are almost twice as likely to be found not guilty in a Crown Court with a jury than in a magistrates’ court without one. Put simply, more people could be banged up for exercising their right to free speech.

Such as? The £2 bus-fare cap? Labour replaced that with a £3 cap in January 2025. Burnham’s bringing £2 back in January 2027. Two years to return to the previous price, followed by a round of applause. Presumably the bus is travelling in circles. The electricity VAT cut? Six months of relief. Explain how that becomes a lasting answer to Britain’s energy costs. And these problems have been “ignored for far too long”, have they? Labour has been in government since July 2024. Changing the gentleman on the doorstep doesn’t wipe the previous two years from the record. You cannot keep restarting the stopwatch whenever you replace the runner. This post gives us no specific reform, no measured outcome and no figure for how much better off a household actually is. Just a photograph of Bumbling Burnham and another generous helping of his party’s own applause. Name the problem. Explain what changed. Show the result. “Vital breathing space” sounds splendid. Does it appear on the electricity bill, or must we print out this photograph and wave it at the meter? Yours, awaiting the figures behind the fanfare, A Gentleman from the Old School. 🎩

😂 Nick Ferrari bursts out laughing as Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds is forced to sell the latest government gimmick live on @LBC Reynolds looked thoroughly embarrassed as he tried to sell the plan to scrap import tariffs on a list of “everyday essentials”. When Ferrari asked him which products were included and what the actual savings would be, Reynolds immediately started dampening expectations, sheepishly admitting these were “not huge reductions” before reeling off the list: baked beans, chocolate, gherkins… That’s as far as he got. Ferrari could not contain himself and burst out laughing. 😭 Nick then pointed out that the Conservatives have called the projected saving of £21 per year “derisory”. You could see Reynolds was mortified reading it out. Imagine the brief he opened this morning and realised he had to go on air and sell this to the public. 😬 What a farce. Even on the government’s own figures, this works out at roughly 40p a week for the average household. Forty pence a week. You lucky people. Another pointless gimmick that will have zero material impact on people’s lives.
