Higher interest rates reduce discretionary spending because people are poorer paying for essentials. Ths means it spends less on " luxuries". In the end if a country lives beyond its means it eventually pays because its currency devalues. Labor try to make it intergenerational.

Queensland's nuclear bans must be lifted.
Ideology must be removed from energy policy. We should have all clean energy options on the table as electricity demand skyrockets.
Why won't the Qld LNP take leadership and lift the state bans on nuclear power and uranium mining?

Yes. But help me understand your point. 🤔❓️
I was stating that it is irrelevant that it was written at a time when much of the world was illiterate, not challenging it the age.
And I was also stating James' assertion of the stories being embellished are not based in fact. We know this because of the very thing you mention: the Dead Sea scrolls and many other ancient documents and document fragments we have.

If you haven’t been up here in Snowy River country, consider a visit. Awesome scenery, tall tree forests that go on forever, withe Lakes Entrance & the Gippsland Lakes “just down the hill”.

Anthony Albanese is blaming other countries for his failure to control inflation.
But his Treasurer believes "Australians couldn't give a stuff what inflation is in the United States"
Mr Albanese needs to take responsibility for his own failures.

#auspol Albanese says their is an increased frequency and intensity of climate events. Its bullshit if you read the science or even the politics of the IPCC or CSIRO

#auspol The underlying inflation rate in Oz is 3.6%- thats a full 1% higher than Europe or the USA and even higher than most countries. This is a function of poor government
#auspol I recall many years ago in Brazil where welfare in a district I lived was paid if the kids were ticked off as attending school. It could work here although may be expensive. However long term might change some kids direction.
