My personal experience with AI is that most of the gen AI companies have offered me buckets of money (house money!) to publicly endorse their tools and claim they are central to my creativity (have turned them all down).
What's interesting is that there are SO many people who are hyped about these tools who should be getting the bag instead of me. So all I can gather is that these companies are throwing money around to control the story about who their tools are for. Seems like they'll pay anything to have non-AI folks endorse the AI tools.

Seth Rogen says if you use AI to write your stories or scripts, then you “shouldn’t be a writer”:

VFX breakdown rules are weird.
MI7 pushed “practical” but released CGI breakdowns to get VFX Oscar and got nominated.
MI8 had similar CGI but hid it to keep the “practical” angle and got ignored.
Predator Badlands released breakdowns, but had to blur talent

Some clarification here: "no green screen" doesn’t mean "no VFX”.
There were, in fact, thousands of VFX shots in the film (2018!)
Green screen is sometimes used in lieu of building sets or figuring out locations/lighting in advance, which can be noticeable if not done carefully, and is something we didn’t want to do. We built the entire interior of the Hail Mary ship - but within the ship, there were still wire and puppeteer removals and ceiling replacements, etc. When Ryan is outside on the hull of the ship, we shot him in front of a black background for space and a shifting hue background when he was up against the aurora of a planet which allowed for truer interactive light on him than a green screen would. The wide space exteriors and spaceship shots were entirely digital and beautifully done by ILM. Rocky was a seamless blend of puppetry and animation from Framestore. And other great work from many more. It really does take a village and we had the best of the best on our side.

right now the ads that print are basically mini-movies - weird characters, fast cuts, aggressive pacing, plot twists in 15 seconds
and yet most marketers are still pumping out the same dead “here’s the product” content like it’s 2019
AI gives you the chance to make something so bizarre, emotional, or chaotic that people have no choice but to stop scrolling
