Before the match on Sunday supporters of United and Fulham will come together behind the Stop Exploiting Loyalty banner to voice opposition to increases in ticket prices. Time: 3.45pm - 4pm Location: Gather behind the banner, in front of The Trinity statue opposite the Megastore
Manchester United and Fulham fans are joining forces before Sunday's FA Cup tie at Old Trafford in a protest against ticket pricing. Fulham fans’ focus is primarily on the cost of tickets for this fifth-round tie. For United fans, the protest is more about the wider issue of ticket pricing rather than specifically the Cup. They’re still awaiting their pricing announcement from the club about next season. “Across the country football fans are putting rivalries to one side because we are all fighting the same fight on ticket prices,” says Duncan Drasdo, chief executive of @MU_ST. “Clubs are exploiting loyalty and fans are united in saying enough is enough. Aggressive ticket pricing attacks the very identity of the "supporter" and if they want to treat fans like customers don't be surprised if they start to act like customers. “But be warned: that will destroy the culture of loyalty and atmosphere that creates the immense value that match-going fans bring to our game. Of course, once the whistle blows, normal rivalries will resume in what is a key Cup match for both clubs. But pre-match our message is united and it is clear – stop exploiting our loyalty.” @FulhamSuppTrust says, “While the protest is about wider pricing concerns this match serves to illustrate the issue. For away fans (and home members in equivalent seating), tickets for the tie were priced between £52 and £61 for adults, £41.50 and £48.50 for supporters aged over 65 and between 18 and 21, £31 and £35.50 for 16 to 17-year-olds and £25 for under-16s.” Simon Duke, chair of @FulhamSuppTrust, says, “These outrageous prices show contempt for loyal supporters, who will face difficulties getting home after the game on account of the tie being switched to a 4.30pm kick-off at the behest of the broadcasters”. #MUFC #FFC #MUNFUL #FACup

Sir Jim Ratcliffe can break Manchester United doom loop with one shocking move. Price rises and job cuts have soured the atmosphere for relatively meagre savings but there is a chance to transform the mood... Op-ed by MUST CEO, Duncan Drasdo telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

Top listen @Drasdo gives a great overview into what goes on in the background that we don’t hear about due to NDAs etc, when you think 4M per PL place, instead of bumping ticket prices, finish 1 place higher and it offsets it! And as always we will be forever grateful to Ian.
A further sneak peak into the episode, if you haven’t given it a listen yet or don’t normally tune in This one is well worth giving a spin, it’s a really good and insightful discussion around the club at current and many topics alongside this

3/ £18.8m in debt interest payments over six months, taking the total interest costs since the Glazers’ leveraged buyout to more than £1bn Without the INEOS cash injection of £80m, the club would be down to £15m cash

2/ 2. Initially there is distrust on both sides but work at it and the club starts to understand how listening to fan reps and doing what is right for fans is also almost always in the club's interest too

MUST statement on United’s financial results that reveal that the total cost of debt interest since the Glazers takeover has topped £1bn, and that giving Ten Hag a new contract and then sacking him cost £14m. All the while their £66 tickets greed will make less than £2m.

Manchester United Supporters Trust campaign for frozen prices and highlight that £960m in interest charges since the Glazers bought the club and over £2.1bn spent on players is perhaps a bigger cause for concern than rinsing kids from Salford & Whalley Range £66 for a ticket
Fans should not be paying the price for previous bad ownership & bad management. We have always supported lawful protest for fans who are prepared to get off their backsides and walk the walk and we believe that's most effective when we talk the talk too imust.org.uk/Blog/Entry/an-o…

Liverpool price freeze should be a signal to United to follow suit. Achieved, at least in part, through Liverpool's supporters' trust (SoS) building up influence through years of dialogue. This is an email from Roy Bentham of SoS to the Premier League Network this morning
