The fact that the Soneyverse is more profitable then the DCU has been is absolutely insane.

You can talk all you want about the BvS second weekend drop, but that doesn't change the fact that it still sold more theatrically than all three DCU releases combined, plus crushing home video sales. Snyderverse sells, Gunn's DCU does not, simple as that

Your mistake is thinking DC can duplicate what the mcu has done, NEWS FLASH THEY CANT! They’ve bankrupt their studio turn. They even brought in two BIG “MARVEL GUYS” and they have failed miserably at duplicating its success.
YOUR HIVE MIND THINKING IS WHY DC IS IN THE DUMPS
The MCU’s success is literally built on the same principle of having smaller, relatively self-contained stories that build toward something bigger, so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. Not every movie needs to make a billion dollars to justify its existence, and keeping budgets reasonable is exactly how studios reduce their risks. You’re calling me a hive mind while acting like every DC movie needs to follow Snyder’s blueprint.
I am not Zack Snyder’s friend. I am a fan of his, like I am a fan of many different directors. As you so deliberately ignore, like many of your ilk, Zack Snyder has all those fans largely due to his DC FILMS as we are all DC fans!
I am not on his payroll to negotiate his career
It’s going to make its budget back soon enough. They deliberately kept the budget low, which was a smart move for a BODY HORROR movie. And let’s be real, Joker is objectively a much bigger name in Batman’s rogues’ gallery than Clayface, so comparing their box office numbers as if they should perform similarly is ridiculous.
And stop shilling for slop? Bitch, please. Snyder hasn’t delivered a well-received movie in a while, yet you’re still on your knees begging for his return while his recent filmography is struggling creatively. Maybe worry about getting The Last Photograph a distributor instead of crying about the DCU 😅

I'd rather get Zack Snyder's universe back
That's what DC needs
Keep Reeves around too — he is a fantastic filmmaker
It was always gross mismanagement and sabotage not Snyder.

The Joker opened to 248m worldwide. When you make low budget CBM, they aren’t expecting to just break even. Otherwise what is their incentive to fund it ?
The DCU is a total lackluster bust. Zack’s launch of his DC universe blows the doors off of this.
STOP SHILLING FOR SLOP

Wait you mean rewarding horrible people with movie premieres for their toxic behaviour, creates an incentive structure for cult like behaviour?
Who could’ve seen this coming?

WB/DC cultivated this toxic environment. They give social credit to the worst of the worst, so studio has a shield against valid criticism.

Y'all spammed "No Snyderverse?" for years just to end up with a DCU with no Justice League

This clown thinks that’s the formula because the mcu did it that way. When in reality these movies cost hundreds of millions to make, and they aren’t gonna see the returns on every solo film to warrant the budget costs.
Hive minds like yourself can’t fathom that reality.

$250M in production budget and $150M in marketing went into BvS.
$450M production budget and around $250M in marketing went into the films on the right.

This is the expectation set up by you fan boys when you glazed every Marvel project because it had an end credits cameo for the next movie. You can't now decide it's not what you all clapped at seals at because you wanna now glaze the pedophile running DC.
