exciting news! looking forward to seeing your DNA in @OpenAI
Godspeed.
Some news: I’m joining OpenAI to lead product management for Core Products!
I have a lot of respect for OpenAI for showing the world that scaling works, for bringing AI to over a billion people, and for believing great products are core to the mission.
I’m excited to work with @thsottiaux, an incredible PM team, and everyone across OpenAI. Together, we’ll build agents that have your back and your team’s, and keep you in control, so you get more time for the people and work you love.
Lots to learn, and lots to build. Please keep your feedback coming!

Having money doesn't help you make you friends.
It does the opposite: it isolates you.
This is my favorite podcast I've ever done.
It's a deep dive with my pal @JaysonGaignard on how to build authentic friendship and community.
Real friends, not deal friends. Watch here:
Thanks for coming to Stockholm @JensenHuang. Now the fun part, seeing what people build on it!
An idea can only go so far without the computing power to test it.
@JensenHuang joined Wallenberg Investments’ Marcus Wallenberg, @Spotify’s @eldsjal, and Sferical AI’s Jenny Nordlöw to celebrate the launch of Sferical One, a shared AI supercomputer powered by NVIDIA.
More computing power to help researchers and businesses turn ideas into breakthroughs. 🇸🇪

It was great to get to talk with @ziv_ravid and @Hellisotherpe10 about everything from the linguistic foundations of NLP through various debates in the field to the latest successes of LLMs!
New episode of The Information Bottleneck with Chris Manning (@chrmannin) !
Chris is a legend in NLP. A lot of people learned the field from his CS224N lectures, and if you've worked on language in the last 25 years you've almost certainly used something he built.
We talked about what linguistics gave machine learning that ML wouldn't have figured out on its own, and why Chris thinks the open problems in NLP are moving up to pragmatics and dialogue.
He walked us through his new paper showing that language models learn verb categories before they learn individual verbs. He also explained why he thinks Yann LeCun is wrong about language, which Chris sees as the biggest cognitive tool humans have. We got into whether text alone can teach meaning, including the octopus debate with Emily Bender, and ended on ReFT and editing representations instead of weights.

In the wake of their devastating, nationwide, unexpectedly crushing defeat, The Brazilian Left -- just like the Democratic Party does after they lose -- is now attacking the voters themselves, saying they're too stupid to realize how much Lula did for them. Some, of course, are saying they lost because Brazilian voters are racists and Nazis, but most are going with the "stupidity" excuse.
Maybe some self-reflection would be better?
Sam Altman’s exclusive Decoded interview ricocheted across the internet, with his claim that the world should accept “some bad things happening” to attain the benefits of AI drawing fire from likely 2028 hopefuls.👇

#AI is breaking the link economy.
Old model:
#Content → Search → Click → #Monetize
New model:
Content → AI consumes → AI answers → No click
If AI becomes the interface to information, #publishers need a way to measure and monetize the machine consumption of their content.
