Every Christmas I buy a chocolate orange for my Dad. Every year I eat it before I wrap it. The most I've got through before the one he was actually gifted was 4. I've even unwrapped one.

UK state pension is £241.30 per week after 35 years of National Insurance contributions. The guaranteed minimum income for someone who has paid nothing into the system is £238.00 per week. That means if you do the right thing, work and pay into the system you benefit by £3.30 per week 🤯 Just how is this right? #Pensions

If truckers get fined £2,000 for every illegal found hidden in their trucks entering the UK, Why don't the RNLI get fined £2,000 for every illegal they bring into the UK

GOOD POINT👇👇👇 To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone. I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly and so I just skipped the exit line and left. I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store. You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be. • I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you. • If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine. • Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities. YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING. YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU. Signed ......All of us People we need to share this statement its basically about PROFIT to the stores AND putting People out of a JOB....!!!

I work from home and always have a nap after lunch for a good 40 mins or so. The days that I can't have one I feel like some kind of hero for doing an "all dayer"

If the Euro Millions jackpot is under 50 million I refuse to buy a ticket as I feel the prize pot is beneath me. I've got £14 in my bank account

I hide in my shed to escape my wife's never-ending parade of family members who are 'just popping round' every night unannounced. It didn't have a window but I installed one so I can see them all fuck off home.

I hate people with absolutely no spatial awareness in supermarkets. Why is your trolley sideways, blocking the aisle? Why are you standing near the entrance looking around as if it's your first time on Earth? Move!

Have been ordering chippy for lunch every Monday for months. On a diet so didn't order two weeks in a row. Owner of the chippy came to my house to make sure I was alright. Made me feel like a right fat bastard.

My 1st ever date I took her to Nandos. Wanting to look hard I ordered xtra hot instead of my usual lemon & herb. Went back to her parents & immediately needed the toilet. Spent the whole time there shitting my guts out. Her Mum drove me home with my soiled undies in a Lidl bag

I’m selling my 1972 Rolls Royce Corniche - owned by me for 5 years it has one of the nicest 6.75l V8 engines I’ve witnessed in any old Rolls. It runs just so so smoothly and quietly. The bodywork has a few little tiny blisters but presents well and the interior is just beautiful. Just had a full suspension rebuild at great expense. Perfect for summer. No tax or mot required and super cheap insurance. First £50k buys it. Perfect for @MrJamesMay - as we all know he loves a good Corniche!

I am proud to announce the new Lister 3310! Lister has engaged the Chief Designer of the Nokia 3310 to design the new Lister EV Roadster. Plus points are; one charge lasts 3 months, you can play snake on the on board computer and it’s pretty much indestructible.

We walked to their houses, knocked on their door and asked if they were 'playing out'.

As it turns out, Brits don’t like their citizens being stabbed to death in the street by foreigners.

In 2016, as Hurricane Matthew approached Florida, a man moved his prized BMW E30 M3 into his house to keep it safe. After checking that the double doors were wide enough, he carefully drove the car into his living room and parked it behind the couch.
