As I predicted just a few days ago. I said Microsoft and Excel were going to be next. Brandon Thomas isn't just trying to provide compatible replacements for these tools. He's attempting to break the entire enshittified business model that produced them. More power to him! tomshardware.com/software/miโ€ฆ

GO TO ANY SHOPIFY STORE AND ADD /cart.json TO THE URL THIS TELLS YOU INSTANTLY WHETHER A STORE RUNS ON SHOPIFY. IF IT RETURNS JSON IT'S SHOPIFY. IF IT 404S IT'S NOT NOW ADD /meta.json TO THE SAME STORE THIS SHOWS YOU THEIR SHOPIFY PLAN. BASIC ($39), SHOPIFY ($105), OR ADVANCED ($399). IF THEY'RE ON ADVANCED THEY'RE DOING SERIOUS VOLUME. IF THEY'RE ON BASIC WITH 200 PRODUCTS THEY'RE EITHER STARTING OR BLEEDING NOW ADD /products.json?limit=250&page=1 EVERY PRODUCT. EXACT PRICES. EVERY VARIANT. COMPARE-AT PRICES. PRODUCT CREATION DATES. CHANGE page=1 TO page=2 FOR THE NEXT 250 PRODUCTS A PRODUCT CREATED LAST WEEK = THEY'RE TESTING IT A PRODUCT CREATED 8 MONTHS AGO STILL LIVE = IT'S PRINTING A COMPARE-AT PRICE 60% HIGHER = THAT'S THEIR EXACT ANCHORING STRATEGY NOW ADD /collections/all?sort_by=best-selling THEIR ENTIRE CATALOG SORTED BY ACTUAL SALES. THE PRODUCTS AT THE TOP ARE MAKING REAL MONEY. NOT FEATURED. NOT PROMOTED. THE ONES PEOPLE ACTUALLY BUY NOW COMBINE ALL FOUR: - /cart.json CONFIRMS IT'S SHOPIFY - /meta.json TELLS YOU HOW BIG THEY ARE - /products.json GIVES YOU THEIR PRICING AND TESTING TIMELINE - /collections/all?sort_by=best-selling SHOWS YOU WHAT ACTUALLY SELLS THEIR PLATFORM, PLAN, ENTIRE CATALOG, PRICING STRATEGY, TESTING HISTORY, AND BEST SELLERS. ALL FROM 4 URLS ANYONE CAN TYPE. THE STORE OWNER IS NEVER NOTIFIED. THE DATA IS FREE. 99% OF OPERATORS HAVE NEVER TYPED ANY OF THEM NOW TAKE THEIR BEST SELLER. FIND IT ON ALIEXPRESS. PASTE THE LINK INTO AI. FULL PRODUCT PAGE IN 60 SECONDS WITH A HEADLINE THAT CONVERTS 2X HIGHER THAN THEIRS. LIVE ON YOUR STORE BEFORE THEY CHECK THEIR ANALYTICS TOMORROW MORNING (I built the AI tool that does the page part - paste any aliexpress link, full page in 60 seconds โ†’ link in bio)

A Claude Code engineer just dropped an insanely valuable article. When to use Low, Medium, High, and Max effort. The same task on Low can take 1 min while Max takes 28. Stop running Max on everything. Save this and read it.
What is effort really? When do you change it it and why not just use max effort for everything? I dove deep into this problem, looking into evals and doing my own tests and I was quite surprised by the results.

Four things to check and fix before trusting any VPN setup. 1. Fix WebRTC leaks first WebRTC bypasses the VPN tunnel entirely and exposes your real IP through JavaScript. Test at browserleaks.com/webrtc with your VPN active. If your real IP appears anywhere on that page you are leaking. Fix it by disabling WebRTC in Firefox through about:config by setting media.peerconnection.enabled to false. Chrome has no native toggle so use the WebRTC Leak Prevent extension. 2. Fix DNS leaks Connect to your VPN then run the extended test at dnsleaktest.com. Results should only show your VPN provider's DNS servers. If your ISP's servers appear your DNS is leaking outside the tunnel. Fix it by enabling DNS leak protection in your VPN client settings or manually configuring your DNS to use your VPN provider's servers specifically. 3. Fix your timezone Your browser reports your system timezone to every website you visit regardless of VPN. If your VPN puts you in Germany but your timezone reads Lagos the mismatch flags you immediately. Fix it by changing your system timezone to match your VPN exit location or use Firefox with resistFingerprinting enabled which reports UTC for everyone. 4. Fix your browser headers Your accept-language header broadcasts your language preference with every request. A US exit node sending requests with Accept-Language: en-NG is an obvious signal. Fix it by setting your browser language to match your VPN location or use Tor Browser which normalises all headers to the same value for every user. The full verification sequence Note your real IP before connecting. Connect to VPN. Visit ipleak.net which checks IP, DNS, and WebRTC simultaneously. Confirm nothing from your real connection appears anywhere on the page. Changing your IP is one step. These four are what actually stop the leaks.

Ass Bench Update ๐Ÿšจ After running GPT 6 Astra in a loop for the past week, with a couple of steers a day, we have officially reached high-fidelity cheeks. Iโ€™m going to let this thing run in a self-improving cycle for as long as I can and see where the ass technology ends up in a month. Lots of different butt styles will be added, so no one is safe. Not even you, Granny. Youโ€™ll also be able to support the project and help fund the benching of other models like Fable, Gemini, etc. All it takes is a buck, and you can slap your sticker + website directly onto a cheek. The future of AI benchmarking is here More Soon
