Social media driven self ego promotion disease right there.

Happier, more human contact, more in control of our own lives, and free, much much more free.
I've discovered that just standing still and staring blankly at nothing in particular for a few minutes really is mind clearing self care. It's like a mini reset every time.

Sorry, what was the question again? I just scoffed it.

Oh yesss!! Glad someone else sees this too!!!
Do you ever find yourself singing or humming random songs out of nowhere?
This morning going to work I somehow needed to sing Roxanne by The Police.
Tonight I keep humming the theme tune to Jurassic Park.
What on Earth?
Do you turn into a human jukebox for no reason too?
One of the great things to hear is other people saying your name. It makes you feel like you count and that you matter enough that others say it. It never goes out of fashion for me.
Today has been a weird day. It just feels better, more possibility on the air, a little exciting even. No proof of this, just feels that way. Anyone else got this vibe too?

Yes agreed but that would mean they would have to get up and go out and do physical work rather than sitting at home lounging with a phone. And that is far too difficult for the little princes and princesses now.
Sometimes I wonder. People are supposed to be struggling financially but I'm looking out the window at my office in a small tourist town and I see packed cafes, new cars, most very well dressed, and lots of crowds...on a Monday. Wasn't like this 3 years ago when we all had money.
Another early start in the dark. Life isn't the fun it used to be. Stress is everywhere. But looking at the night sky somehow the stars are sparkling brighter this morning, shining as if there is some hope and good news on the way. Maybe the Universe knows something we don't.
It feels like the world is collapsing around us. So I'm going to close the curtains, have a glass of whisky, and watch Robin Williams in Mork and Mindy and await armegeddon all cosy inside.

My dad once said to me,
'Don't go where everyone else is going because it's popular.
Go where you want to go because it matters to you and no-one else'.

I woke up this Sunday with a yearning to be by the sea sitting on a bench and watching the waves. Dunno why today, just feeling like I wanted to get away from it all to somewhere I can be alone and untroubled.
Spent the afternoon watching a Christmas film and now I want to buy an old coffee shop in a wintry little community that loves Xmas and find my true love while selling my home baked muffins. Seems legit to me.
I love going out for coffee. Always to independent shops to support local business. Each one has a different vibe, a personal energy, and the coffee tastes like no-one else's. Plenty of places to choose from so every coffee trip is an adventure in somewhere new.
