Golfers everywhere are getting excited for spring, but winter is not over yet. Courses still need to be managed very carefully until consistently warm weather arrives.

Would be cool to see the @USGA run a program like this for mechanically-inclined students who want to intern with a CTEM & learn how the position influences turf in a massive way.

We're offering an excellent opportunity for turfgrass management students to participate in a paid internship program traveling with USGA agronomists. Reach out to Mary McConnel ([email protected]) for more information.

Unless it's the only game in a low-cost-of-living town, why would an assistant superintendent candidate possessing a degree or certificate consider a job paying less than $45,000 per year in 2023?

.@fordnation I think my wife and RN’s across the province are worth a lot more than a 1% raise. Here she is ready to walk to work in this blizzard knowing she may be forced to be there more than the scheduled 12 hours of her shift…

To Ontario golfers: students power the majority of our teams. They go back to school in September. Services will not be the same but those left really are trying their best. I’m begging you to be kind.

Some of you who are NOT turfgrass professionals are going to be playing golf this week. Here’s my ask. If you see any member of the greenkeeping staff, say hello to them. Thank them. It makes a world of difference. Please like and retweet.
