“Out here?”
Brosef, it’s not like the officials all live in South Bend. They’re ACC officials.
Miami coach Mario Cristobal was very unhappy about the way this play was officiated.
“Really disappointed that they negated Elija Lofton’s touchdown with two hands on the ball and two feet in bounds.
“But like we told the team before we left Miami, do not leave it in the hands of the officials because that’s what you’re going to get out here.” @On3

ACC Refs stop the clock to let Miami catch its breath.
And now we're taking what 5 minutes to review a very obvious NOT targeting.
I am currently leaning towards calling that 3rd and 5 play from Denbrock, cowardly. Here's hoping it doesn't bite them.
You simply cannot have two mistakes like that on one play against the No. 1 team in the country.
You just can't.

Notre Dame has talked about "next man up" this season but it appears that we've found where their depth at corner ends.
For now at least, Mark Zackery is getting dominated by every receiver he lines up against.
Not all his fault, he hasn't had a ton of playing time. But it's rough.
Hear me out. What if we ran a play on 3rd down where the receiver runs a route past the first-down marker?

Barkate is absolutely owning Mark Zackery. Chris Ash is going to need to find something else to do, assuming Leonard Moore can't return

Despite that touchdown pass, Mensah is just 11 for 22 tonight for 125 yards. He has equaled his season high in incomplete passes.
This game could end up being a Heisman elimination game and at the moment, CJ Carr is not the one being eliminated.
Ok. Miami finally put a drive together. Time to step on their throats and answer with another Tuddy.
