RULE OF 4
How many times have you seen a team score 4 runs in the 1st inning and not score the rest of the game and end up losing? #WorldSeries @Brewers @RaysBaseball
Did this Run ever score? If so, Robin Ventura would like a word…
Carlos Gomez admired a first-inning home run on September 25, 2013 and the trip around the bases turned into a confrontation.
He jawed with Atlanta players, Brian McCann blocked him before he could reach home and both benches emptied. Gomez was ejected.
A home-run trot normally ends with a touch of the plate.
This one turned into one of the strangest standoffs you'll see between third and home.

@shegone03 This is the shit that drives me crazy.
Your team is down 3-0 facing elimination
Your team is losing 5-4 in the elimination game.
You get an inconsequential hit in the 6th inning.
You do the “ look at me” dancing crap .. and the run never scores anyway.
Hate it.

Remember when Lou Gehrig played 2130 games in a row? Remember when Chris Chambliss was in the lineup every day for five years, or when Tino won 4 rings in 5 years?
Well, here's some guys that played 1B for the Yankees since their last World Series championship:

I’ll tell you what: the postseason is one of those times (along with the All-Star Game) when I miss the AL and NL having different rules.
In the NL playoff series, pitchers batting added another wrinkle to the question of how long you let your starter go.
In the WS, the novelty of the two best teams left standing having to navigate unfamiliar things like how to play small ball in the NL park and who to DH in the AL park was always really fun to watch.
On balance, over the grind of 162, I’m mostly — MOSTLY — in favor of the universal DH. But watching these amazing teams play in October… I just really miss the feelings of “the Mets get a DH tonight??” and “Chuck Nagy has to WHAT??”
The old adage of “Your Run means nothing” when losing by multiple runs late in a game has been lost
I’m a fan of Nick Sogard but the dugout celebrations when you’re getting your ass kicked is Frat Boy behavior!
Is there not 1 veteran in the @RedSox dugout who isn’t afraid to say “Cut the shit! We’re losing dumbass’s!”

It’s clear that teams don’t win with these attitudes
Did we really just miss potentially one of the best defensive plays that we have ever seen because the lazy ass first baseman with the bad attitude couldn’t trouble himself to hustle and get to the base on time?
You’re 💩 me right?

American League Playoffs.
The 3 best records in the league are in RED having to fight it out for the Pennant.
The 3 Lesser win teams are in YELLOW. The #3 ranked team has a .500 record.
Didn’t know that @MLB playoffs have a JV Division

Earlier in the season, Brewer manager Pat Murphy pulled rookie Cooper Pratt for not fully running out a hit.
Tonight, Murph pulled veteran William Contreras for not running out a ball to first.
The Brewers win because the Standard is the Standard for rookies and vets. @Brewers
