SpaceXAI engineer (ex-Cursor): "right now I'm running 10-20 GrokBot agents that automate 90% of my routine i have a Chief of Staff agent. He knows about all my other bots and manages everything" in a 50-minutes podcast, a SpaceXAI engineer showed how to build a team of agents that will work for you 24/7 worth more than a $500 course on agentic engineering watch today, then read how to build a Grok agents team from scratch in the article below

Interesting. Grok 4.6 releases around August 7. This will be the 1.5T model with significantly improved SFT & RL. Grok 4.7 will be the 2.1T model released a few weeks later. This will be better than 4.6 in every way, except slightly slower to serve, albeit with even better token efficiency.
In our latest deepsec.sh benchmarks, Grok 4.5 has emerged as the best cybersecurity AI model on price-performance. It's 10x cheaper than Sol, 5.7x cheaper than Opus 5, and 2.2x cheaper than Kimi K3, yet at Kimi-like perf. Sol remains the frontier, ahead of Opus 5.

Based on strong positive feedback from customers in our beta test program, @spacexai will make Grok 4.5 available to the public tomorrow. It is an Opus-class model, but faster, more token-efficient and lower cost.

True
Replying to @sfliberty
Warren identified the deeper problem almost a century before Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich Hayek made it famous in academic economics. When everyone owns everything, no one owns anything. When labor earns the same reward regardless of effort, effort disappears. When prices vanish, no one knows what anything is worth.

Grok 4.5, based on our 1.5T V9 foundation model, with Cursor data added in supplemental training, is now in private beta at SpaceX & Tesla. Early evals show performance close to, perhaps exceeding Opus. RL is continuing to significantly improve the model, and the Grok Build harness gets better every day. Nice work by all those involved! Completely trained from scratch new models will be released by @SpaceX every month this year.

Grok Build daily updates
Got another update to Grok Build.....it’s receiving daily improvements at a rapid pace Release Notes: v0.2.73 Features: • Keep text selection highlight setting added so drag selections stay visible until dismissed. Bug Fixes: • Doubled lines after tab switches or focus changes in tmux or editor terminals are now healed. • Clipboard copy now only shows success when the pasteboard actually received the text via a trusted path.

FSD Supervised can give you back your freedom
My 87 year old Mother-in-law decided she wanted to "drive" the Cybertruck today so we went for a quick spin on FSD 14.2.2.5 She hasn't driven a car for 5 years so she was stoked. "It's amazing!" 😁

Tesla FSD just saved two lives on the highway. A man walked straight into traffic in heavy fog/rain at 65+ mph. The Model 3 spotted him and swerved safely. Could’ve been fatal for both the pedestrian and my cousin driving. Insane reaction time. Grateful for @elonmusk @Tesla

Picked up a pizza order. As I walked out, an elderly couple was getting out of their new Tesla Model Y. I said, “Beautiful car.” He said, “Thank you. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned.” I said, “Why?” He said, “You see me—I’m 78 and can barely walk, let alone drive. I’m taking my wife out for date night again after 52 years of marriage. We couldn’t do this with our old car. I didn’t buy this to save the planet. I bought it to save me.” 😢 All choked up, I said, “Thank you for sharing. You two go enjoy your dinner!” I see and hear this so often from elderly people buying Teslas, but it never gets old. Tesla is freedom🫶🏻

Try using @Grok for your taxes!
.@grok just saved my sister $1,441 on her taxes. I had it check the turbotax output and it found a mistake. Seriously - 4.20 is very good with taxes.

It is hard to communicate how much programming has changed due to AI in the last 2 months: not gradually and over time in the "progress as usual" way, but specifically this last December. There are a number of asterisks but imo coding agents basically didn’t work before December and basically work since - the models have significantly higher quality, long-term coherence and tenacity and they can power through large and long tasks, well past enough that it is extremely disruptive to the default programming workflow. Just to give an example, over the weekend I was building a local video analysis dashboard for the cameras of my home so I wrote: “Here is the local IP and username/password of my DGX Spark. Log in, set up ssh keys, set up vLLM, download and bench Qwen3-VL, set up a server endpoint to inference videos, a basic web ui dashboard, test everything, set it up with systemd, record memory notes for yourself and write up a markdown report for me”. The agent went off for ~30 minutes, ran into multiple issues, researched solutions online, resolved them one by one, wrote the code, tested it, debugged it, set up the services, and came back with the report and it was just done. I didn’t touch anything. All of this could easily have been a weekend project just 3 months ago but today it’s something you kick off and forget about for 30 minutes. As a result, programming is becoming unrecognizable. You’re not typing computer code into an editor like the way things were since computers were invented, that era is over. You're spinning up AI agents, giving them tasks *in English* and managing and reviewing their work in parallel. The biggest prize is in figuring out how you can keep ascending the layers of abstraction to set up long-running orchestrator Claws with all of the right tools, memory and instructions that productively manage multiple parallel Code instances for you. The leverage achievable via top tier "agentic engineering" feels very high right now. It’s not perfect, it needs high-level direction, judgement, taste, oversight, iteration and hints and ideas. It works a lot better in some scenarios than others (e.g. especially for tasks that are well-specified and where you can verify/test functionality). The key is to build intuition to decompose the task just right to hand off the parts that work and help out around the edges. But imo, this is nowhere near "business as usual" time in software.
