You assume that it's possible to do. That's not always the case. And at min you should not pretend that this is a "5% tax" that will not be noticed -- it is a confiscation of 100% of the liquid assets of private company founders in almost all cases.

I absolutely cannot afford to stay, given that you and your corrupt union overlords are planning another "one-time" tax in two years. This is not a 5% tax, it's a full confiscation of all my liquid assets. It's going to bankrupt founders without full liquidity.

I estimate Cybercab will launch in Dallas around November 15, 2026 which is around the time they will hit 1 million autonomous miles in Dallas.

The mental gymnastics to defend MKBHD are kind of insane. First Cybercab launches in 2026. They say "but it hasn't sold to a customer under $30k yet!". Ok, fair. Now Tesla says they will sell some for under $30k before the end of the year. And the new argument is "But are they selling to individual customers, or fleet managers?" Go back and listen to what he said two years ago. After trying it he said it was "the weirdest tech event I've ever been to" and that "the biggest red flags are the timelines, this is notorious Elon stuff. He gets on stage and says we're going to have this vehicle out for $30,000 before 2027. No they're not! If they do, I will shave my head on camera, because I'm that confident they won't do it" If people are buying them for $30,000 or less before 2027, it's pretty hard to argue that doesn't meet the definition of "get the vehicle out for $30,000 before 2027". It is a real vehicle people are using every day. MKBHD elaborates further that there is "too much stacked up against it" because of 1) regulatory approvals needed to launch FSD Unsupervised and release a vehicle without a steering wheel and 2) the ability to hit the $30,000 price point in spite of inflationary pressures. This is actually a very reasonable and honest analysis from Marques. I can't fault any sane person for going to this event and saying "How the hell are they going to get a pure vision autonomous car with no steering wheel launched before 2027?". That is a completely reasonable take. But that is exactly what Tesla has done. If and when anyone buys a Tesla Cybercab for less than $30,000 before 2027, Tesla will have successfully achieved unsupervised FSD, navigated the regulatory environment, and delivered a low cost vehicle platform despite inflationary pressures. Trying to split hairs over what kind of customer is buying the car completely misses what the discussion was originally about. MKBHD said that achieving unsupervised FSD, not being stopped by regulators, and hitting cost targets were so unlikely that he would shave his head if they did it. They did exactly what he thought was so improbable that he was willing to bet his hair on it. He wasn't out there arguing, "yeah this vehicle will enter production and they will achieve unsupervised FSD, and they will hit the $30,000 cost target... but they will only be able to sell it to fleet owners". He doubted any of it would be achieved. Tesla hasn't won the bet yet, but all they have to do is pick someone off their fleet interest form, sell them one or more Cybercabs for less than $30k a pop, and MKBHD has to shave his head on camera. Again, I don't think Marques is stupid or unreasonable for doubting that this could happen by the end of 2026. I didn't think it was a sure thing either. But he went out to his millions of viewers and said I'm so convinced this will not happen that I will shave my head on camera if it does. We didn't ask him to, it was his idea. If Tesla completes a sale in the next two months and he shaves his head, I'll have much more respect for everyone involved. If he tries to split hairs and say they didn't really do what they said, I will just be shaking my head and thinking "come on..."

My statement as Jared’s attorney: “The central allegation in this book is categorically false. These are not questions of interpretation or competing recollections: there are no bank accounts. They don’t exist. These are egregious and defamatory claims without a shred of evidence to substantiate them.”
“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. Makes sense for SpaceX to acquire some terrestrial cellular towers. With their satellite network behind it, they’ll need far less terrestrial infrastructure than other carriers to provide equivalent service.
$SPCX is in talks to secure at least 80,000 U.S. cell sites as Elon Musk looks to turn Starlink Mobile into a 4th nationwide wireless carrier. Combined with its growing satellite network and recently acquired spectrum, those sites could give SpaceX the ground coverage needed to compete directly with $T, $VZ and $TMUS.

Jared Kushner denies allegations from today’s Vanity Fair piece
.@VanityFair posted an excerpt from a book containing outrageous and categorically false allegations. The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened. We denied every one of these claims on the record, yet the author failed to provide a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of them. No bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details were provided to support these extraordinary accusations. During the period in question, I was one of the most scrutinized people in the world, subjected to intense media coverage, multiple congressional investigations, and a special counsel investigation. I voluntarily cooperated with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony. None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened. These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism. This is not journalism. It is a mixture of fantasy, fiction, and advocacy, written by someone who is either deeply disturbed or acting with sinister intent.

Federal officials are arresting the body brokers who bring American addicts to LA for Medicaid-funded “treatment” and dump them on the streets to die. LA gets about as many homeless off the street each year as there are homeless from LA. Stop the inflow and the crisis is over.
