2 fireworks events for Guy Fawkes night in Gloucestershire have been cancelled, due to concerns for the welfare of animals.
One was cancelled because it was near a sanctuary for birds & another was cancelled due to concern for horses in a nearby field.

When Suzy was rescued, she was barely holding on to life. Her condition was critical, and without emergency treatment, she had little chance of survival. We didnโt know if she would survive. But against all odds, she made it.

The Tories back up to 24%. Jesus. The British public is like a dog that's been kicked by the same bloke for fourteen years, yet still runs to the door when it hears his car.
And Labour, sort yourselves out.

๐ Happy World Vegan Day ๐
Today we stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. For every cow whose baby was taken. For every pig who never saw the sky. For every chicken, fish, and lamb who deserved to live free. ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐

GOOD MORNING from some very happy shelter residents! โ๏ธ๐พโค๏ธ
Cats playing. Dogs racing around. Donkeys running just because they CAN. ๐ฅน
Watching them, it is hard to imagine that nearly every animal here carries a painful past โ abandonment, injury, illness, neglect or abuse.
But look at them now.
This is what happens when helping hands come together.
A donation. A bag of food. A medicine. A share. A repost.
Individually, they may feel small.
Together, they become THIS. โค๏ธ
Full bellies. Treatment. Safety. Freedom. Play. Animals who once struggled to survive are now simply HAPPY.
So if you ever wonder whether your donation or share makes a differenceโฆ
Watch this video. This is your answer.
You helped turn painful pasts into mornings like this. โค๏ธ
