Victor Wembanyama: “Winning the Larry O'Brien is a childhood dream and having a real shot at it, having a chance, a tangible chance at winning it, realizing a dream, it's a lifetime chance. You never know what's going to happen again. The day we win it, it’s going to be an amazing day of realization of a dream. It's almost like the meaning of my life.”

34 of Bricksquad Monopoly has a lot to offer on the court, but the way he carries himself on the bench and during dead balls has really stuck out to me.
Constantly supporting, talking, rallying, and otherwise finding ways to impact the game even when he is not playing. That’s a good teammate right there

NEW STORY:
Carter Bryant used to chase his dreams in silence.
Bryant grew up playing basketball with deaf kids, learning to play defense without a word. It taught him how to compete and how to trust.
As he prepared for the NBA All-Star Dunk Contest and Rising Stars game, we spoke about how the deaf community shaped who he is today.
“For the longest time, I thought half the population was deaf and half the population was hearing."

That might be a more interesting comment than it seems to be on its face.

This the most versatile defender on the Hawks. Hawks fans need to watch other teams play so they can see why his type matter. He's more impactful than a 18-20ppg scorer.

Here is a thread of relevant plays from Zaccharie Risacher playing defense last night.
He made shots last night, too, but he is doing this sort of thing every game.

For the second time in the game, Snyder is using Kispert as a defensive sub ahead of Risacher.
Legitimately baffled by that.

Nice that the younger guys got more playing time, which further begs the question of why they didn’t trade the vets yesterday
