Some thoughts on @standard_rsv, because this one is hard to ignore, atleast not after i witnessed the success and downfall of OHM. But asides from that one the best strategy I used to sniff solid projects is simply by following smart reputable accounts that has consistently delivered value to this industry for years.
Let's talk about the launch, most launches ask you to buy a story. This one is closer to a bank charter than a mint. That distinction is the whole reason I looked twice.
The design premise is simple: OHM didn't fail because the idea was bad, it failed because the printer had no brakes. Standard's whole bet is that issuance should answer to something real, not a schedule.
Net ETH flow through the hooked ETH/$STANDARD pool decides the rate. ETH in, issuance eases and fees build reserve. ETH out, issuance cuts and fees buy back and burn. The system defends itself before it tries to be generous. That ordering is rare in this space.
But then again, what actually convinced me wasn't the marketing, it was this line from the team:
"we believed in the idea enough that we were prepared to bootstrap the entire protocol and fund the initial liquidity ourselves, we have put almost $100k into the project already."
Not "we raised." Not "market makers will handle it." They funded the first pool themselves. If you have been following me for long, you'll know this is the type of team i promote, same reason we were bullish on hyperliquid.
Back to the main topic, structurally, a Charter is a seat, not a collectible. Soulbound, one per wallet, it burns if you leave. Yield lives on Branches attached to the Charter, one to ten of them, not on the NFT art itself. Growth comes from buying expansion licenses in $STANDARD token, and those burn on use, so the mechanism that grows your position is the same one shrinking supply.
Exiting means retiring a Branch. You can't harvest and keep the machine running. Go quiet for 30 days and anyone can report you. None of this is built to be generous to passengers.
For anyone trying to understand the mechanics without wading through the whitepaper:
What do you mint?
A Founding Charter, 1,000 total. A license to run a bank and receive issuance, not the token itself.
Who gets paid at mint?
LP and vaults. Team's cut of the 0.15 ETH fee is zero.
Where's the yield?
On Branches, scaled to how many you hold per Charter.
What happens if you go idle?
30 days and you're flaggable. The system isn't built to carry dead weight.
For the record, launch details for Sept 14:
• WL window: 5:30 to 8:30 PM EST
• 0.15 ETH liquidity fee
• Leftover spots go Dutch, 1.25 down to 0.15
• Trading opens after, with a decaying 90% anti-snipe tax
• Emissions start with the market
• 100 Branch auctions on day one
• Extra Charter auctions stay off at launch
Thickening the pool before thickening the banker set is a sequencing choice most teams get backwards.
Why I'm showing up: I'm tired of protocols that only know how to be generous when things are calm. This one was designed around the assumption that people panic and exits get expensive. New Charters re-slice the pie instead of printing a bigger one, and the people who stay are the ones who benefit from that.
That's the first design in a while that reads like it was built by people who expect to be tested, not people hoping they never are.
Lastly, I know how much scammers try to take advantage of the hype that comes with this type of launch, follow only @standard_rsv @0xbeans for any authentic information you need.
Good luck everyone and as usual, see you on the side that prints.

Airdrops made my life in crypto way easier and saved me from my own mistakes multiples times
2022: Down -50% from my first cycle ATH
2023: I am in the last year of my master and I spend time Sybil farming Arbitrum airdrop. I get 10+ wallets eligible
I even teach a class mate how to do it and he makes $30k
I should have gone harder, but it is what it is, it sends me back near my 2021 ATH at bottom of the bear.
2023/2024: I decide to focus on ZKSync and other shitty L2s, but I then move quickly to ZKSync & LayerZero mostly.
My friend tries to Sybil both very hard with low quality interactions.
I believe everyone will do this thinking they will use Arbitrum criteria. I decide to just use multiple High quality main wallets.
I get maybe $15k on L0 (big fail), very good airdrop on my main ZKsync wallets. At the same time I « farm » Starknet a bit but the chain is unusable. With good quality wallets it was a good drop, but I only get a few k$.
I don’t really know when, but I also get a fat $PIXEL airdrop, it was worth $80k at the top but I sold for $20k. Bad decision.
2025: I miss a DM asking me to try this new platform «Hyperliquid » but I eventually catch up. I make some volume over time. I am not a trader but I can tell the platform is better then the others so I refer some people who are traders (or not). I should have spammed this ref link way more in insight lol.
6 figs from Hyperliquid.
At that time I am also making some good moves but I am also always round tripping. A good example was a 30x on $POPCAT that I sold for a 5x at the end. I still made profit but my brain counted this as net worth even tho I didn’t take profit. Lesson learned.
During the last 3 years I only held $HYPE when it comes to real investments, and a bit of $ETH. 90% of my wins came from airdrops, and they allowed me to be in good profits from this cycle even this though I made big mistakes on the way.
The funny thing is, from the very beginning of this post, Arbitrum airdrop, to where we are now, people were always saying airdrops were dead. Even in 2022/2023. And yet every year we had at least one banger airdrop. And it’s gonna stay this way.
Keep the faith, keep clicking. The game changes but not the outcome.

There is no more obvious opportunity than Trade xyz at the moment.
Averaging $1.6B daily volume in the last 7 days.
A while ago, we were farming perp DEXs at $1B+ daily volume.
However:
- If Trade XYZ launch a token, the valuation will most likely be way higher than most of these projects
- If they don't drop a token, but there is another Hyperliquid airdrop rewarding HIP-3, the airdrop value will easily exceed airdrops from other perps IMO
But HIP-3 projects don't have points szn?
Uncertainty is your edge...
If nothing happens, it's alright, you farmed many projects that didn't reward you, it's part of the game
If something happens, gg wp
