I'm absolutely baffled by how Dems are letting the ProPublica report die down. It shows Collins to be corrupt and tied to Trump, the two most damaging looks for her. There was a Super PAC ad but not much else xitter.cf/IAPolls2022/status/210…

Whoever is running Poindexter's campaign needs to work for Troy Jackson. They should be posting edits of him chopping trees to G-Unit, instead the McMorrow people have him reacting to Caleb Hearon reels.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) says he has no plans to help Ken Paxton with fundraising, warning Republicans risk losing when they nominate “flawed candidates.” Asked by CNN whether Paxton deserves to be a senator, Cornyn said he would “let the voters decide.”

KY-06 is one of the first districts to close in November and Dembo is a strong candidate. If it gets close to tossup, then Republicans are in for a THRASHING
The DCCC is going up with a coordinated #KY06 ad buy with the Zach Dembo campaign. They've reserved $77K so far. Aired KY-06 general election spending: 🔵$683K 🔴$634K Total KY-06 2024 general election spending: 🔴$87K 🔵$0

all arguments about DC and Puerto Rico statehood boil down to this btw there is literally zero reason to oppose giving millions of Americans their constitutional right to Congressional representation other than naked partisanship

at this point me keeping Texas at Tilt R is becoming less about what I think will happen and more about just not wanting to jinx it

In the world of man, the truth always has consequences, but in the kingdom of the Lord it sets you free.
The Detroit News: County GOP chair resigns after posts about bad Republican vibes Jackson Karki, chairman of the Marquette County Republican Party, resigned from his position over the weekend after a series of his social media posts about low GOP enthusiasm ahead of the November election drew national attention. Other Marquette County Republican leaders were planning to hold a meeting about how to respond to Karki's posts. But the 19-year-old stepped down before they could reach a decision, said Jennifer Jermalowicz, the county party's new interim chairwoman. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…

If Democrats win the Senate, no way in hell can they let any Trump appointments go further than Merrick Garland’s did in 2016. If they do, they are spineless.
👀At the SCOTUSBlog event in DC today, Judiciary Cmte No. 2 Sen. DURBIN (who is retiring at the end of the year) says he thinks Democrats in Congress should allow a floor vote on a Trump SCOTUS nominee should one arise if they're in the majority. Durbin: "The only senator who has ever changed the tenure and composition of the Supreme Court was Sen. McConnell, who decided for 10 months that eight justices was just fine and left that vacancy as the Obama presidency closed. I think that was overstepping and contradicting some of the same positions he'd taken on previous justices. But there's power within the control of the Senate, particularly in a majority situation, that you cannot deny. It's part of it. If you're asking whether I think there should be a vote: yes, I do, at some point. There should be a vote on any judicial nomination."
