This is very unwise statement to make. The wife is not the only one grieving. She will re marry but the family can never have another son. Will he also prefer his wife to lay him at the cemetry when he has his own house. I hate friends who move to your woman and cannot stand by you

A STATEMENT ON AY LIVE CARDIFF To everyone who bought tickets and came out to see us in Cardiff, I sincerely apologise for the disappointment you experienced. Your time, money and support deserve respect. My fellow comedians and I travelled to Cardiff to perform and eventually entered the venue. Unfortunately, unresolved payment commitments delayed our appearance, and by the time we arrived at the hall, most of the audience had left. You deserved a properly organised show and timely information. You should never have been caught in the middle of a payment dispute. In this video, I explain the circumstances directly. I respectfully ask that you listen to the full account before drawing conclusions. I am calling on the organisers and our UK tour management to provide a clear resolution for ticket holders, including refund information. Verified updates will be shared through my official channels. Birmingham β€” 30 October London β€” 31 October Manchester β€” 1 November These shows remain scheduled, and we look forward to welcoming you. For over twenty years, your support has helped build this brand. I value that trust and remain committed to honouring it. Ayo Makun (AY) Corporate World Entertainment Ltd

Sincerely, I know our apology may not do much to remedy the situation, but I can confidently say @AYCOMEDIAN doesn't treat his fans badly. The AY I know has, over the years, made sacrifices to please his fans despite several disappointments from event promoters. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where fans end up on the receiving end. Please don't cancel a man for simply fighting for his colleagues and what's due to him. @AYCOMEDIAN is a man of his word, and I hope his CARDIFF fans will understand the situation. I sincerely APOLOGISE on his behalf.

Our children, pregnant women, elderly people and people living with serious illnesses can be especially vulnerable to unsafe products. No family should have to worry that the medicine they bought, the drink they opened or the food they served could endanger someone’s life. To the National Assembly of Nigeria: WHERE IS THE STRONGER, COMPREHENSIVE LEGISLATION? We need laws that do more than condemn counterfeit products. We need laws that prevent them, expose those responsible, protect whistleblowers, and ensure that offenders face appropriate consequences. Here is what we are demanding from the National Assembly: βœ… Review and strengthen existing laws against counterfeit drugs, adulterated drinks and unsafe food. βœ… Establish clear, proportionate penalties for manufacturers, importers, distributors and sellers who knowingly endanger the public. βœ… Ensure that repeat offenders face tougher consequences. We also need stronger enforcement. NAFDAC, SON, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, public health authorities and other relevant agencies must have the resources, technology and legal backing to inspect, investigate and prosecute offences within their respective mandates. Laws without enforcement will achieve little. Every product entering the Nigerian market should be traceable. We need effective product verification systems, reliable batch identification, stronger supply-chain monitoring and accessible ways for consumers to report suspected fake products. Technology should help Nigerians verify what they buy before they consume it. What happens when a dangerous product is discovered AFTER it has reached the market? We need rapid public alerts, mandatory and transparent recalls, clear instructions for consumers, and accountability for companies that fail to act promptly. The public must never be the last to know that a product is dangerous. We must also protect those who speak up. Whistleblowers, healthcare professionals, journalists and consumers who report suspected counterfeit or unsafe products should have safe, accessible reporting channels and appropriate legal protection against retaliation. Silence must not be the price of exposing wrongdoing. Nigerians have a role to play too. Buy medicines from authorised sources. Check product registration and packaging. Report suspicious products to the appropriate authorities. Avoid spreading unverified allegations against individuals or brands. But let us be clear: the primary responsibility for effective regulation and enforcement rests with the relevant authorities and those placing products on the market. This campaign is a call for action, not just another trending topic. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, WE DEMAND ACTION! Introduce, debate and pass stronger, comprehensive legislation against fake drugs, adulterated drinks and unsafe food. Publish a clear implementation plan and hold enforcement agencies accountable. Our lives are not for sale to counterfeiters. REPOST if you support this campaign. Tag your representatives, senators and relevant government agencies. Let us make consumer safety a national priority. #EndFakeProductsNigeria #StopFakeDrugs #SafeFoodNigeria #ConsumerProtection

NIGERIA MUST DECLARE WAR ON FAKE DRUGS, ADULTERATED DRINKS & UNSAFE FOOD! πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ @NafdacAgency @nassnigeria @officialABAT How many Nigerians must die, fall sick, or suffer permanent damage before we take the menace of fake drugs, adulterated drinks and contaminated food seriously? What we consume should not become a threat to our lives. Nigeria must act NOW! 🚨 Imagine buying medicine from a pharmacy or chemist, trusting that it will save your life, only to discover that it is fake. Imagine buying a drink or food product that looks genuine but could put your health at risk. This is not just a consumer issue. It is a public health emergency that demands urgent attention. The problem is bigger than fake drugs alone. We need stronger action against counterfeit medicines, falsified alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adulterated beverages, contaminated food, expired products sold as fresh, and the deliberate relabelling of unsafe products. Nigerians deserve better.

BEWARE OF FAKE TOMATOES PASTE 🚨 Public Alert!!! 🚨 An imported tomato paste product found at Bowa Market, Onitsha was carrying fake NAFDAC registration number belonging to a sachet water product. This is one of the deceptive practices we are working to eliminate. During a recent enforcement operation, NAFDAC officers discovered and intercepted the imported tomato paste, which falls under Nigeria's import prohibition. Beyond violating import regulations, the misuse of a NAFDAC registration number is a deliberate attempt to mislead consumers into believing a product has regulatory approval.
