I looked into #HarperDB today. It was great to see a distributed database making excellent use of #SocketCluter in terms of both implementation and architectural patterns. Benchmarks are impressive but not surprising since good architecture and good performance go hand in hand.

Why does #twitter disable receiving messages from anyone by default? This setting only benefits 0.01% of their users but it harms everyone else and society by contributing to class division and filter bubbles.
