When you remember that the classic STAR TREK SHOWS were able to crank out: STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES - 3 seasons, 79 episodes (1966–1969) STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - 7 seasons, 178 episodes (1987–1994) STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - 7 seasons, 176 episodes (1993–1999) STAR TREK: VOYAGER - 7 seasons, 172 episodes (1995–2001) STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE - 4 seasons, 98 episodes (2001–2005) A TOTAL OF 703 EPISODES ACROSS FIVE SERIES IN 39 YEARS (1966–2005)... ...the idea that MASSIVE STREAMERS like Netflix and Amazon can only produce 8-10 episodes of GARBAGE TV... ...followed by 2-3 year hiatuses... ...becomes even more pathetic, doesn't it?

It begins… AI games going viral. You will be able to make games so fast that I expect there will be games made every day based on news and happenings. Meme games will be a thing too. This one has million of views but only 4000 peak so far. Won’t be long now till we get the first 300,000 concurrent vibe coded game made in a weekend.

We just learned of the passing of MIT mathematician and programmer Margaret Hamilton. Her work at MIT's Instrumentation Lab was essential to the success of NASA's Apollo missions in the 1960s. She was a true trailblazer. Rest in peace. 🚀

Amazing how often I read some "There's no reason to worry about AI" piece, and think of the old meme "Did an AI write this?" And then I check with Pangram and... yeah, yeah it did.

As a kid, you probably read the entire: - "Harry Potter" series: 4,100 pages - "Hunger Games" series: 1,155 pages - "Chronicles of Narnia" series: 1,680 pages - "Series of Unfortunate Events" series: 3,390 pages - "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" series: 2,300 pages But now you say, "I'm just not a reader"? Bullsh*t. You're still a reader. You've just forgotten how great books are. Books are still amazing, you just have to find the right ones for you.

Remember the Halo producer who hated guns and games that glorified gunplay? He just got laid off. Stop hiring people that hate the games you make. It ruins franchises.
