Today, Bitcoin moves anywhere, at will, but the contracts that put it to work have not caught up. Outside the largest venues, most income, protection and financing products are still built one provider at a time, in fragmented silos and bilateral deals.

More than one company competing to provide atomic swap is alreadt way better than almost the entire network relaying on a single company. But hundreds of entities (from white to black market) competing in a decentralized way would clearly be even better! There was an attempt already with Liquidity Ads, but that was not even remotely as successful as Boltz. I hope @ArkLabsHQ can pull it off, and I think there are reasons to be hopeful: they rock at execution, which is something Bitcoin nerds great at research sometimes aren't super good at. I've read even @massmux is already checking it out, in case transforming its Boltz fork into a liquidity provider for the decentralized approach.👍💪

The argument that interest cannot be repaid because there is not enough money is a misconception. All fiat is virtual, it exists as debt for the issuer and credit for the holder. If I owe interest, somebody else holds the corresponding claim. There is not debt without credit.
Not saying that govs are able to repay their debts.
