Allow me the hubris to make a prediction. In the history of tech, when something is not already working, improving it further and further and making it more sophisticated never really works. When Steve Jobs created the iPhone, his motivation was simply, him and all the executives hated the phones they were using, which were quite limited. He thought he could do better. When Henry Ford created the model T( the iPhone moment of cars). His mission was explicitly the car for the everyman, to release the tyranny of the farms. If you need to give me a convoluted reason why a need something, I don't really need it. This will sell, it will not however change the world, dethrone the iPhone or be the interface of the AI age. Why? Try and give me a single reason why, this particularly will work, what is the conviction behind it, the problem for humanity they are trying to solve? Why does this thing exist?

🚨 META JUST UNVEILED THE VR GLASSES 100 grams on your face - about the weight of a deck of cards. Meta says it has “the best display system that we have ever made,” and people in the demo were literally saying “it is like a computer” and “you could edit a whole movie just using the table.” As Mark explained this is cinema, computer, and a game console all in one, with 3D space, virtual screens, hand occlusion, and DisplayPort over USB-C. James Cameron’s reaction is probably the best quote in the whole segment “I’m inspired by what you’ve created. I’d like to see my work in these glasses.” I am completely one shotted these look amazing!

Anyone who follows @SpecFactory knows he talks about Reykjavik Eyes a lot. Ever wonder if he only hypes them because they're a brand he sells? After wearing the Fulla for a few days I can attest hands down the most comfortable frame I own and I have 15 frames in my collection.
