We love it when filmmakers take direct inspiration from great artists and classic paintings. Here are some of our favourites… First up, The Truman Show (1998) and Au Clair de Lune (1956) by René Magritte. 1/35

Eye-opening story about the candy sellers in New York, a common sight on city subways. Deeply reported and well worth the read—I hope the story gets the attention it deserves curbed.com/article/migrant-c…

I kinda knew Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade was gonna be right up my street (I can’t get enough of the dark side) and @DelilahSDawson didn’t disappoint. It’s cool that this whole Star Wars novel (which comes out July 18th) is told from Iskat’s perspective.
A hardback copy of Delilah S. Dawson’s novel Star Wars Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade is standing on a glass coffee table, with Hasbro’s Black Series Grand Inquisitor, Reva/Third Sister, Fifth Brother and Second Sister figures posed around it.

This is truly, simply what the WGA strike is about: do you detect a difference b/t the shows you stream (through Roku, your laptop, etc) and the ones you watch through a cable box? Bc we do the same work for both, but we take a HUGE paycut for streaming shows. 1/3
