Red Sox get a CRAZY value extension on Brayan Bello, 6 years $55 million. If Bello is able to develop one of his tertiary pitches to get more chases and whiffs he will become ELITE. He currently throws his Four Seam or Sinker 56.9% of the time and is well below the league average for K%. He is fantastic about limiting walks, but struggles to put away batters with any pitch besides his changeup. Changing his slider/cutter to more of a sweeper I think could help him make that “Ace” type jump this year.
