Can’t help but notice that Asian countries in general seem to be having a down performance in freestyle at Worlds. Asian Championships fatigue? Bad peaking?

Per my research.....the Spencer Lee/RBY final is the first All Pan-Am gold medal match at the world championships in men's freestyle since Daniel Igali (Canada) over Lincoln McIlravy in 1999

Kyle Dake has made a career out of totally rewriting what’s possible in the sport of wrestling. I’ve seen every match of his since the dual vs Maryland in 2009 and it’s been incredible to witness.
This world title is gonna make it a lot easier for people to accept Bo Bassett as a Hodge contender this season 👀

Hate the way freestyle will call takedowns as step outs on the edge - even if the same hold gets finished. If the takedown starts in bounds and gets finished out of bounds, that should be 2! Don’t let stepping out save someone still stuck in the same move!

Quick shoutout to Giancarlo Bodoni who has some of the best grappling instructionals that no one seems to mention
You can tell Canuto is a little worn down, likely from being a new dad. Thankfully he’s facing Ethan, who’s always a little worn down because he doesn’t do cardio.
