Come on. Jesus knew exactly who He was speaking to. These were men who knew the Hebrew Scriptures. You cannot separate His words “I am” from what He said immediately afterward. He deliberately pointed them to Psalm 110 and Daniel 7. He knew the significance of those claims, and so did the high priest. That’s why he tore his clothes and accused Jesus of blasphemy! You’re also confusing a distinction of persons with a distinction of divine nature. Jesus is not the Father, but He shares the same divine nature.

You don’t understand the verse you’re quoting.

Think Mark doesn’t teach Jesus is God? Wes Huff shows how Mark reveals His deity in every chapter through the Hebrew Scriptures. 🔥

This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.

Deception increasing is bible prophecy. You’re only describing what has been foretold.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruits” - Matthew 7:16 Calling yourself a Christian doesn’t make you one.

These men were experts in the Hebrew Scriptures. They understood the significance of what Jesus was claiming, but they rejected Him. You’re assuming that because they rejected His claim, they must have misunderstood it. That’s not logical. Jesus didn’t correct them by saying He was merely united with the Father in purpose. Instead, He doubled down on His claim, and they tried to seize Him again (John 10:39). If you don’t understand the Hebrew Scriptures, you won’t fully grasp the gravity of what Jesus was claiming about Himself. That is where so many people go wrong when interpreting His words. They miss the significance of His claims because they do not recognize what He’s revealing about Himself in light of the Old Testament.

What you won’t find in Scripture is what YOU believe….that Jesus is a created being, a lesser god in the same sense that mere men are called gods in Psalm 82 That view is completely foreign to the Bible.

Jesus was not saying He was just a man like those judges. He was showing them why their accusation of blasphemy against Him was wrong. He had already declared, “I and My Father are one” in John 10:30 and He wasn’t taking that back. He doubled down on His claim! Read it carefully. That is precisely why they tried to seize Him again in verse 39.

He was crucified for claiming to be God. What are you even saying.

The whole counsel of Scripture reveals the Trinity. The word itself doesn’t have to appear in the Bible for the doctrine to be biblical. When you reject what Scripture reveals about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you’re left with a ton of contradictions that you have to explain away or simply ignore. This is why some groups even change the Bible to explain their false claims about Jesus being “a god.”

These folks openly express hatred toward Jews, Blacks, and Hispanics. Their rhetoric reminds me of the KKK, yet they claim to follow Christ. This is exactly why so many of us were raising concerns about certain voices in the “Christ is King” movement. Their words and actions are anything but Christlike. There are tons of men just like that one.

Jesus Himself held up a little child as an example of the kind of humble, trusting faith we should have.
