We join Star Trek fans in mourning the loss of actor Walter Koenig. He joined the cast of the original Star Trek television series in its second season as Russian navigator Pavel Chekov, a key member of the Enterprise crew. Koenig portrayed Chekov in two seasons of the original series and all six of the original series major motion pictures.

apple.news/Ah7n_UKoJSfCQ8_ac… I enjoyed working with Walter on Moontrap eons ago and we bumped into each other at cons randomly. He was always funny and sweet. Until we see each other in the next dimension!

RIP to the great Walter Koenig, who brilliantly played Psi Cop Bester on all five seasons of Babylon 5. A frightening performance by a wonderful man.

So sad to hear about the loss of Walter Koenig. Such a nice guy and when we were on the convention circuit together a pleasure to hang out with. Here he is with Celeste Yarnall in “The Apple”, one of my favorites of the oddball episodes. Farewell.

This one hurts. Walter was a kind, humble and loving man…and a friend. He will be missed by so many. My dad is joined with his friend in heaven.

Mourning the passing of Star Trek legend Walter Koenig. He was 90. A couple of years ago, Walter gave us a nice interview for the Roddenberry Archive, directed and edited by Roger Lay, Jr. youtu.be/Z3vzNfxpgZ8

Rest in Peace Walter Koenig. Thank you for navigating us through the final frontier, and bringing us such joy through your years of activism, writing, and memorable characters like the joyous Chekov and the sinister Bester. We're forever grateful that you lent your talents to our game. We'll see you again, in the stars.
