Colts should be sellers, but which stars should they actually move? stampedeblue.com/indianapoli…
Colts-Jaguars opening odds: Can the Colts halt the skid? stampedeblue.com/indianapoli…

Even if likelihood of either is low, I think there’s a greater chance of AR “figuring it out” at age 24, than Daniel Jones now approaching 30.
With Colts season already looking like it’s over (and Jones value tanking w/o Steichen likely here next year), what do you have to lose?

My professional opinion: None of their QBs would have much success vs that Vikings defense minus Alec Pierce and Tyler Warren. But Jones’ season long trajectory has been so bad that you lose nothing by trying something else.
NEW: Colts QB Daniel Jones now has the worst TD-to-INT ratio of any starter after throwing another crucial interception into double coverage. But, remarkably, he hasn’t lost his coach’s backing.

Even if you chalk it up to the Achilles recovery and believe that Jones is closer to the QB we saw in the first half of 2025, the Colts are still getting rather poor play at the league’s most important position right now.
Daniel Jones is currently 37th among QBs in total EPA, 37th in ANY/A, 38th in QBR, 37th in passer rating, 36th in Y/A, and 30th in TD passes.
THERE ARE ONLY 32 STARTING QUARTERBACKS!
HE IS LITERALLY WORSE THAN MULTIPLE BACKUPS!
$88 million contract by the way.

I can hear Jim Mora after Colts lost to SF 40-21 in 2001 (Manning 4 INTs, Indy 5 TOs). "Don't blame that on the defense." It led into his 'Playoffs?!?.
For 3rd time in Indy era, 1st time since '19, Colts have lost consecutive games with D limiting opponent to 280 or fewer yds.

Ideal hope was that Daniel Jones could be a placeholder for a few years, giving the Colts good starting QB play until they could find a franchise guy again.
Right now, he’s not startable. Whether it’s the Achilles or falling back down to Earth, he looks like he did with Giants.

#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor in response to his wife, Ayanna, discussing his trade rumors on social media:
“It’s been out there already, so I think her adding (to it) doesn’t really change anything. You know everybody’s on TikTok these days. So, you just gotta … stay focused.”
#Colts RB Jonathan Taylor’s wife, Ayanna:
“Our record is 2-4 and we just lost to a winless Titans (team). … Hence, they fire Chris Ballard, and players that once seemed untouchable may now be on the table.”
She teased a Part 2 about JT trade rumors, but I can’t find it.
