Amnesty's Gaza "genocide" report relies on 15 airstrike cases as evidence that IDF targeted ONLY civilians. FIVE are now proven to have killed combatants. A key example, the Oct 9, 2023 attack on Jabalia market, now has 6 proven combatants killed and that number is growing.

Antisemites so badly want there to be a genocide in Gaza so they can justify another genocide of Jews.
Current deaths in conflicts around the world. That one at the bottom is the "genocide" the whole world must stop by ruining Ed Sheeran tours and abusing Jewish kids in Golders Green.

Must be fun to cheer for commies that nuke economic prosperity for a country 1000s of miles away from a penthouse.

$SPCX is burning a MASSIVE amount of cash. The ONLY reason it's "investment grade" (for now) is its "equity cushion" of bubble-stock. When that deflates, so will your "grade."
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

Why is this "breaking"? Was anyone expecting an attack on Iran "today"? He (stupidly, from a negotiating perspective) said multiple times there would be no attack before the midterms.
🔴 ⚠️ BREAKING: Trump: We will not attack Iran today.

Remember this post for when Elon Musk reads it and claims he invented this for his Boring Company, lol.
Engineers crack the code for building colossal 20-meter-span tunnels under city streets in Indonesia...expected advance rate of 1 meter per day. bioengineer.org/engineers-cr… how do you carve two colossal tunnels, each spanning 20.3 meters and standing 13.8 meters tall, directly beneath existing streets and residential housing, through soft volcanic soil that can barely hold its own shape? The proposed design incorporates several innovations for Indonesian tunneling practice. Pre-confinement will consist of 53 sub-horizontal jet grouting columns, each 60 centimeters in diameter and 18 meters long, inclined at 6 degrees with 0.5-meter circumferential spacing and 12-meter longitudinal spacing, producing a 6-meter overlap between successive columns that forms a protective umbrella ahead of the face. Fiberglass dowels in the form of GFRP pipes will reinforce the core face, preventing the large, uncontrolled face extrusion that can destabilize unsupported soft ground. The initial lining combines 4-bar butterfly lattice girders at 1-meter spacing, a double-layer wire mesh system, and 30-centimeter fiber-reinforced shotcrete, supplemented by 6-meter underpinning micropiles welded to the girders for elephant foot-lock reinforcement. Lattice girders were chosen over steel arches because the risk of shotcrete shadowing, meaning voids and inadequate bonding, is much higher for steel arches, and standard steel sections would require heavy bolting and welding that slow assembly and raise safety risks. The excavation sequence adopts large 10-meter segments with a short 12-meter lagged distance between neighboring drifts, and ring closure through invert completion within one to two tunnel diameters of the furthest face, supporting an expected advance rate of 1 meter per day.

A 39-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at knife point in Central Park last night. At 8:30 p.m. This comes just one week after a 32-year-old woman who was biking through the park—and stopped to pick up earbuds that had fallen—was ambushed by three men and punched in the head. Violence against women has surged under Letitia James — up 41% in NYC — making us all less safe and less free. Women now worry about riding the train home from work, taking a jog in the park, and walking around their own neighborhoods at night. It’s time for a change at AG. abc7ny.com/amp/post/woman-se…

The genocide accusation requires proof of special intent. If Israel intended to destroy Palestinians as such why has it left Ramallah untouched and >98% of Gazan civilians alive after years of war vs Hamas? Invoking that genocide can mean "in part" does not answer the question.

To everyone watching the surge in far-left violence across the West and telling themselves it cannot get worse: I am old enough to remember when organized left-wing terror groups were killing, kidnapping, and bombing across Europe and America. The 1970s and 1980s are worth a quick revisit. In West Germany, the Marxist-Leninist Red Army Faction (Baader-Meinhof) and the Revolutionary Cells carried out hundreds of bombings, arson attacks, and bank robberies over some 25 years, wounding hundreds and killing dozens. In September 1977, Baader-Meinhof ambushed Hanns Martin Schleyer, one of Germany’s top industrialists, murdered his driver and three police officers, held him for 43 days, then killed him. In Italy, the Marxist-Leninist gang Red Brigades carried out assassinations, kneecappings, and kidnappings over 20 years, killing nearly fifty people. In 1978 they kidnapped former prime minister Aldo Moro, killed his five bodyguards, and left his body in a car trunk after 54 days. In Spain, GRAPO, another Marxist-Leninist group, killed more than 80 people, including a notorious 1979 cafe bombing in Madrid. It used kidnappings to attack the state and later raise money. Its highest profile victims were the president of the Council of State and a top military general. In France, Action Directe, a self-described “libertarian communist urban guerrilla” group, carried out more than 80 bombings. Its leaders were convicted of assassinating General René Audran in 1985 and Renault CEO Georges Besse in 1986. In America, the Weather Underground claimed roughly two dozen bombings, including the Capitol and the Pentagon. Their bombs killed no one but their own members—three in a Greenwich Village townhouse in 1970—until 1981, when remnants joined the Black Liberation Army in the Brink’s robbery. A guard and two police officers died. These groups did not emerge from nowhere. They began inside much larger movements of protest marches, campus organizing, and anti-war activism. Small cells decided that talking had failed, that the state was illegitimate, and that violence was the only remaining language. They were few in number but they did real damage. The grievances of the 1970s were not identical to today’s. The mechanics of escalation, though, are similar. When political anger, economic frustration, and a sense of moral emergency pile up, it only takes a handful of people to break away and treat armed confrontation as the next logical step. History shows it has happened before. The question is whether it will happen again.
