Everyone agrees we should get rid of the Indian Act. There’s rather less agreement on what should come after.
Wab Kinew calls on Ottawa to abolish Indian Act: "I'm not sure if that lines up with your vision of Canada, that we still have a race-based form of identification in this country. It's long overdue that we have a relationship with Indigenous peoples in Canada that reflects who we are as Canadians today."

How long until the BC Cons pull this line out so that they have an excuse to cut and to sell off assets:
“The numbers were even worse than we thought. We’re going to have to tighten our belts and make difficult choices.”
Well, the right has won the right right govern in B.C. What could go wrong?
Strap in kiddies, we in for a ride and not a fun one.
I haven't.totally stopped purchasing from the U.S. because of one reason. Can't readily find some replacement products.
For now I do avoid U.S. products made in a republican state as much as possible.
Small steps

Since christy clark has finally shown us her true colours by coming out to support the BC Cons, here's a reminder of what this fraud did in BC.

Hey BC,
If you won't listen to or believe fellow British Columbians maybe you should listen to Albertans and Ontarians.
Their Conservative parties have been a disaster for most of the citizens living in those provinces.
Look it up.

Eby really needs to win re-election in BC. Too many Con premiers and we will be looking at another assault on Canada from within. 🇨🇦

If you do the math, votes to start the process of separation out of Alberta's total population, you get 8.6% wanting to leave.
It would be fair to call this a small fringe movement.
But go on traitor, continue your spin.

So I guess you unpatriotic separatists don’t speak for Alberta after all, eh? Imagine confusing your little echo chamber with an entire province. Turns out being loud, angry, and chronically online isn’t the same thing as being a majority.

🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Congratulations, Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
The intellectual border wall held firm and even in the most MAGA-infested Canadian province, only 23 % voted for independence.
That nonsense is now dead and buried.
Congrats from your sane neighbour 🇩🇰

I understand that the BC Conservatives may not have had a lot of time to put this document together, but the fiscal plan comes across as one of the more reckless on offer from any political party in the country in recent years.
BC Conservative platform is out conservativebc.ca/plan/ - I’ll take a closer look but at first glance, don’t see a detailed plan to pay for major promises incl. big income tax cut other than talk of accelerating economic growth. Deficit reduction similar to NDPs. More to come
