There are no words adequate to describe just how odious Pete Hegseth is. Just rejoice in the knowledge that one day soon he’ll be gone. An ignominious footnote in the Annals of Infamy.
Hegseth on Afghanistan: I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters. It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there. Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations. In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths. t.co/x4tGhxJiFG

Either provide concrete evidence it’s an ‘Islamist’ uprising or STFU about things of which you know nothing. You couldn’t even find Limoges on a map!
We are witnessing Islamists right now burning Paris because Europe has committed cultural suicide. We should look to France as foreshadowing for what America faces if we don’t stop this here. We are fighting to save our nation.

Much punchier accusations from Sir Malcolm Rifkind - a former defence and foreign secretary: "I choose my words very carefully. I think this week Donald Trump has shown himself as a person to be repulsive; as a President of the United States to be a disgrace to his own people as well as to his international responsibilities. "We all know his actual reasons for this are a grubby attempt to win a few more votes in the midterms by trying to get oil prices down. "In order to achieve that, he has not only betrayed Ukraine in the middle of a war, fighting for its very existence, but he is also directly - not indirectly - directly responsible for the deaths of many Ukrainians who will not now be protected by the attempts that have been successfully made using intelligence provided indirectly by the United States." teapawt.net/breeallegretti/status/…

I’ll say it again, since you struggle with basic comprehension, whatever ancestral ties people may or may not have, nothing justifies taking other people’s homes and lands and driving them out.
Jews have an ancestral homeland, it is and always was Judea, what is now the State of Israel, you are welcome to read up on it. Also thank you for the reach, you racist

In 1994, Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal on America’s word. This month, the president traded that word for a diesel deal with Putin. Watch what he does for Putin. It shows what he wants to do with his power over you. 👇🏼

In fact, Russian attacks have been killing Ukrainian civilians daily - and attacks have accelerated since Trump took office.
Donald Trump: "Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much."

This post is ignominious. This guy, Trump, is not only mentally disturbed, but also a real louse. The darkest hours in U.S. history.

Mr. President, Putin killed and maimed these Ukrainians, not Zelenskyy. No one blamed Roosevelt for defending our sovereignty when we were attacked in 1941, even though many Americans died fight our enemies Only the worst apologists for terrorists blamed Bush for fighting back after 9/11. But somehow it’s ok to blame Zelenskyy for defending his country after Putin invaded? This makes no sense.
Trump: "I watched an interview of a young woman the other day from Ukraine. And she said, 'President Zelenskyy has destroyed our country. President Zelenskyy has taken our men away from us. Our men have no legs, no arms. Our men in many cases in mental institutions or they're dead.'"

1. Trump's brain is paranoid mush 2. Trump's paranoid mush-brain is looking for scapegoats to blame when it comes to the impending collapse of his position in US politics after the mid-terms 3. Trump's desperate search for scapegoats will focus on Ukraine, Canada and Europe
Trump: we are running low on ammo not because of my war on Iran but because Biden gave “massive amounts” of Tomahawks to Ukraine. The U.S. didn’t supply a single Tomahawk to Ukraine.

Trump’s damage control: “My PAC will pay for it.” Raskin: “Thanks for clarifying who’s behind it.” 🤨
BREAKING: Jamie Raskin says Trump's damage control on his taxpayer-funded ads may have walked him into legal jeopardy. Saying "his" PAC would pay for the PSAs revealed he's directing it. That's illegal coordination. Trump just updated future Judiciary Chair Raskin's to-do list.

After sending the National Guard and Marines to occupy California, Donald Trump is now saying our foreign enemies should “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego. He is deranged and dangerous.
Trump on War/High Prices: It's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay. They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego…

Trump is the first president to call for America to be attacked. And his Republican allies said nothing. They don't care about you, or the country. Vote Democratic this November. The future of America depends on it.
