Like Everton, Man Utd are utterly boring. Despite all the talk and supposed changes… nothing ever really changes

The squad build has been abysmal, multiple holes still unaddressed but the players that have come in? 13 permanent signings overseen by Moyes & Kinnear, 2 successes? Last summer they had free reign, £150m spent, huge opportunity to completely reshape the squad and for what?

Three without a win. Two without a goal. The problem isn't one person, it's the whole club. Nobody at Everton is at the level this fanbase deserves.

Whether it’s Arsenal or Hull, Everton keep showing the same problems. Moyes hasn’t addressed them, Friedkins have stepped back from the club, there’s little sign of accountability from anyone. The result is the same cycle of stagnation, with nobody driving Everton forward.

🚨 Maguire reveals Everton 'horror stories' amid Josh Wander comparisons - Kieran Maguire says he's stunned some Everton fans wished Josh Wander had taken over instead of the Friedkin Group - The Friedkins took over in 2023 after Farhad Moshiri's debts left Everton's future in serious doubt - 777 Partners, co-founded by Wander, had previously loaned Everton over £200m to help offset debts - Wander looked to buy the club before that deal collapsed and the Friedkins stepped in - With the Friedkins now reportedly looking to sell after under two years, some fans questioned the alternative - Maguire said: "Would we be better off with Josh Wander? No, no, no, no and no, ok?" - He admitted hearing "a few horror stories" about the Friedkins but said they leave Everton's finances in better shape - Maguire said had Wander bought the club, it likely would have been used as collateral for his other businesses - Wander has pleaded guilty to fraud charges in New York, accused of cheating lenders and investors out of nearly £420m - He has agreed to repay around £375m in losses and could face up to 40 years in prison

xitter.cf/RyanG78_/status/211178… Completely agree. Moyes deserves huge credit for steadying the ship, but I'm fed up(with football in general). But as a club, we've never progressed. The ground was meant to be the shake-up, but it hasn't happened.
A thread to get things off my chest #EFC

🎙️| This is how you stunt development and confidence. Dibling played well against Wolves in the cup, he’s had some good substitute appearances and then we don’t see him again - @Benjwinst 🔵 🎙️| Unfortunately George and Dibling are probably not with the right type of manager to develop. I just don’t think David Moyes is the right manager if we are ever to see the best of Tyrique George or Tyler Dibling - @SteveKelly86 🔵 Listen and watch now ⤵️

📢 Flag display v Newcastle 📢 Before our Carabao Cup game v Newcastle United we will be doing a flag display. We are pleased that the owners are wanting to sell the club, which will hopefully allow us to progress on the pitch & match our fans ambitions in the future with more investment from new owners. With the pending sale of our club, being united as fans along with our players and management is massively important to help the team in these uncertain times. It’s been far too long since our club won silverware and as time goes on each cup game feels even more important. We would love to help push the lads a step closer and into, potentially our first cup quarter final at our new home. Let’s bring our voices from the off & make it a loud one under the lights. UP THE TOFFEES 🔵⚪️🟡

No surprise the club is up for sale, I think the transfer window told you where the Friedkins were at.

Absolutely fair if the statement has taken them by surprise, but if people at Everton genuinely didn't know TFG wanted (at least) an investment or a full sale, then that unfortunately suggests they are simply not the right people for the job.
I understand those inside Everton didn't expect this statement and didn't know TFGs plans I am on @bbcmerseyside throughout the day on this story plus you'll hear me on @bbc5live around 8:45

Premier League is a bit null and void as a competition now isn’t it. Just load of clubs protecting their position with rules rather than on the pitch. Then a select few “cheating” to compete with them. Its supposed to be a sporting competition after all
