Labour MP Apsana Begum is back on X talking about Bangladesh. Again. She's paid nearly ยฃ100,000 a year to represent her British constituents. Now her latest post has attracted a rather embarrassing community note, โ€œApsana Begum is a UK MP. Due to the huge amounts of posts about issues in Bangladesh it is important that her constituents realise she is supposed to be representing them.โ€ Another Labour MP publicly embarrassed through X's community notes. Her constituents are entitled to ask where her priorities lie.

The English two-fingered salute is traditionally said to originate with our longbowmen during the Hundred Years' War ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ The French threatened to cut off the fingers of captured English archers, leaving them unable to draw their longbows again. Following English victories, particularly at Agincourt in 1415, our archers supposedly raised those same two fingers towards the French in open defiance, showing they still had them. A gesture of English defiance and contempt for the enemy, passed down through generations and still recognised across Britain today ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

I've been blocked by Labour MP Apsana Begum. I've called her out numerous times for what I believe is her habit of prioritising issues affecting Bangladesh over the needs of the British people she was elected to represent. Now she's blocked me. It seems she can't handle scrutiny of her political priorities from me, a British voter. This is the first time I've ever been blocked by a sitting Member of Parliament. I find it highly disrespectful that an elected MP has chosen to block me. MPs hold public office, are accountable to the British people and should expect their actions to be subjected to public scrutiny. Blocking criticism doesn't make the questions go away.

I expect Reformโ€™s poll collapse will now accelerate. Their entire strategy has been based on claiming they represented the only viable alternative to Labour. And itโ€™s now imploded.

An honest discussion. Like you had with your constituents in Markerfield, while you begged for their votes: you shit ragged dissembling gravy flecked fraud.
๐Ÿšจ NEW: Andy Burnham says an "honest discussion" is needed on Britain readopting EU free movement "Freedom of movement had very significant challenges associated with it... but it was a type of immigration that perhaps wasnโ€™t as difficult [as now]"

A reward for his efforts in helping to bring down former Prime Ministers. He really isnโ€™t a man they want to spill the beans given what he knows. Passionate about the council of Europe - an ardent Remainer who would never vote to leave the ECHR like many of those being selected for Tory seats. His choice of companions at events in a world of social media is both brave and fascinating. Itโ€™s not Kemi who runs the Conservative Party. Iโ€™m amazed there are still people who think she Rishi, Boris et al ever did.
Another interesting "direction of travel" decision here. Kemi's "New" Conservative Party has re-selected REMAINER Roger Gale as a parliamentary candidate. Gale is 83, and recently REFUSED to vote for ECHR withdrawal, and in fact called the idea of leaving "a grave mistake." He was previously suspended from parliament for attempted to influence judges to protect a sexual assault convict, his friend and former MP Charlie Elphicke. Tell us, @KemiBadenoch, Is this really a NEW Conservative Party? Or is it the SAME OLD TORIES?

Hard to argue
Slipped quietly onto the bottom of the Sky News feed on a Friday evening: former Tory Campaign Director Anthony Lee, his wife Laura, and an ex-party staffer handed suspended sentences after using insider knowledge on the election date to attempt to pocket ยฃ23,000+ through rigged bets. Notice how the establishment apparatus handles real corruption. High-ranking Conservative officials abusing government secrets for personal financial gain get a soft-touch suspended sentence and a discreet, late-night media burial. Meanwhile, look at the contrast with Reform UK. Mainstream media outlets deploy undercover operatives, obsessively hound minor local activists, and demand immediate police scrutiny or political execution over every minor comment made by Reform staff and members. If a Reform candidate had abused insider state intelligence to clear ยฃ23k in a gambling scheme, it would be leading the 10 o'clock news for a month and driving national headlines. When the Tory establishment literally cheats the system, it gets brushed under the rug on a Friday night. Two-tier justice. Two-tier media. Two-tier Britain. @reformparty_uk @Conservatives @SkyNews

Tim Martin, it's time to speak up. ๐Ÿ˜ก You're the chairman of Wetherspoons. The buck stops with YOU. Your own managers are telling customers this is "company policy." So which is it? Confirm it or deny it, today. And don't tell us you didn't know. The chairman doesn't know the policies in his own pubs? Pull the other one. It just doesn't ring true. ๐Ÿคฅ If this isn't your policy, sack the staff responsible. If it is, own it and explain yourself to the country and more importantly to our veterans and servicemen. Silence says everything. Shame on Wetherspoons. Shame on Tim Martin. Should Tim Martin make a public statement?

I dont believe for one minute that the support for Reform has dropped in the slightest. There are clearly quiet Reform voters (just like quiet leave voters during Brexit). Do not believe the polls, most of them got it wrong over Trump in 2016 and on Brexit
