Just to be clear here: they don't hate Seinfeld or Netanyahu--they hate Jews.
NOW: Protesters outside Jerry Seinfeld show in Washington DC smash posters of Seinfeld and Israeli PM Netanyahu and condemn people on line to attend the event. They call Seinfeld part of a β€œpropaganda campaign to normalize genocide.”

It seems odd to me that Breyer would say this, or at least was said to have said it. "Forced out"? He had life tenure, he could stay as long as he wanted. Curious if Breyer has (or will have) a public response to this allegation. nytimes.com/2026/10/26/us/po…

I know this isn’t meant to be funny, but I’m literally cackling. β€œMy decades long thesis on just war demonstrates israel has been fighting one, therefore I am revising my decades long thesis because it cannot possibly be that israel is doing something right”
Michael Walzer published β€œJust and Unjust Wars,” an attempt to delineate the rights and wrongs of warfare in both its causes and its conduct, in 1977. In the nearly 50 years since, no other book on the subject has matched its influence. The precepts are not complicated: it is just to defend your country from an invasion and it is unjust to invade a country that has not attacked youβ€”although Walzer does allow for exceptions, mostly for humanitarian causes. It is just to assume certain risks to avoid civilian casualties and it is unjust to bomb towns indiscriminately to compel an enemy to surrender. The justice of going to warβ€”what philosophers call jus ad bellumβ€”is separate from jus in bello, the justice of how a war is fought. The war in Gaza has made Walzer rethink one of the book’s fundamental principles. β€œThe wall between jus ad bellum and jus in bello, which had sustained his theory for almost half a century, was no longer sturdy,” Jordi Graupera writes. As Walzer said to him, β€œThere is a sense in which the carnage of Gaza, the ongoing carnage, simply made the war unjust.” Read about why a philosopher of war is now reconsidering his seminal work: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/T7…

Obama’s lame attempt to ridicule Trump at the WH correspondents dinner might well be the reason he ran in 2016.
Most are intimidated by Trump. Obama never has been. He knows the way to get under Trump’s skin: humor and ridicule.

It has nothing to do with Gaza or even Palestinians. It has simply become a global symbol for wanting the destruction of western civilization.

Ross Perot Jr. says Xi Jinping wants Taiwan by 2027. "I mean, we should believe him. If he goes to war, the damage to the global economy is staggering." His answer is deterrence. "If you're strong, you maintain peace. And with peace, you buy time, and time is on the side of democracy." He thinks time favors us: China's population is set to shrink, while North America has the best demographics, economy and energy story in the world. What he worries about is our resolve. "Our issue is will. Do we have the will to continue to protect and build our nation?"
Today I sit down with Ross Perot Jr., Chairman of Hillwood and The Perot Group. Ross founded Hillwood in 1988 and built Alliance Texas, his masterpiece, a 1 of 1 27,000-acre development. We discuss: β€’ Why Trammell Crow told him to just build warehouses β€’ How Hillwood developed Alliance Texas β€’ How a rare earth company got its air permit in three weeks β€’ How President Bush helped close Scotiabank's move to Texas β€’ What the 1992 campaign looked like from inside the family β€’ The Iran War and why cheap oil prices are on the way β€’ Why every community should want a data center β€’ How to keep China from taking Taiwan β€’ Why he expects markets to boom after the midterms Timestamps: (00:00) Intro (00:42) Why Texas Is Winning the Data Center Boom (06:20) The Facts Behind the Data Center Backlash (11:49) Why California, Illinois, and New York Are Losing to Texas (18:12) How Fort Worth Landed Elon Musk, MP Materials, and Taylor Sheridan (23:39) Building Alliance for Flying Taxis and Drone Delivery (27:47) Fighter Pilot Heroes and the First Helicopter Flight Around the World (34:29) Why EDS Left Dallas and Hillwood Became a Developer (38:31) Why the Rail Yard Matters More Than the Runway (44:51) Tariffs and How to Deal with China (50:35) Deterring a War over Taiwan by 2027 (55:32) The Iran War and the Coming Oil Glut (59:10) The Case for a Post-Midterm Market Boom (1:04:34) Smart AI Regulation and the Quantum Encryption Threat (1:09:24) Buying Land After the S&L Crisis and Trammell Crow's Advice (1:12:31) Why Circle T Ranch Has Been Replanned 30 Times (1:17:43) How George W.
