Stopped by the legendary Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg for a meet and greet alongside Sheriff Bill Rhyne and Representatives Sarita Edgerton, Travis Moore, Steven Long, and Josiah Magnuson.

The special primary runoff for the US Senate next week is one of the most consequential elections this year. I've spent a considerable amount of time in recent weeks listening to candidates and watching their campaigns.

When they debate protecting the unborn, I'll be glad to know that Ralph is there fighting for the unborn.
When they debate the SAVE Act and how to ensure our elections are secure, I'll be glad to know that Ralph is there- the original author of the legislation.

The more I've learned about Flock cameras in recent months, the more concerned I've become. These aren't your old school CCTV cameras. They're more like the Stranger Things Hive Mind. Or the Eye of Sauron.

They raise serious questions about your 4th Amendment constitutional rights in public, especially when deployed by governments as opposed to say a business. With questions like these we should always err on the side of liberty.

I'm honored to have the support of Rep. @StevenLongSC, a principled conservative leader who has consistently fought for lower taxes, parental rights, constitutional freedoms, and limited government.

Does “now is not the right time” mean 3 weeks from now will be a different time..?
I will introduce, or cosponsor, legislation requiring the Lt Gov pick to be chosen prior to the primaries.
This is not a criticism of anyone, but these are fair questions voters have.
What a week! It was incredibly humbling to be mentioned as a potential Lieutenant Governor candidate by the greatest President in American history.
Virginia and I have had an amazing year. We have successful careers, and our family is happy and healthy. We thank God every day for our two young children, and we love raising them in South Carolina. We know how quickly the years fly by, and we cherish every minute.
I've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friends, neighbors, colleagues, and even strangers encouraging me to run for public office, but now is simply not the right time for me to be considered for Lieutenant Governor. I am Team Evette all the way, and Pamela will be a fantastic governor.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged and supported me and my family. I'm confident that, with Pamela Evette as our governor, South Carolina's best days are ahead.

You may have received a Census letter in the mail. This is not a scam, this is legit. This is an important "test run" for the 2030 census, and it will also provide helpful information.
The census determines important things like congressional apportionment (perhaps SC can pick up another seat in 2030!), community qualification for various programs, and more.

Today the House passed S32 establishing tax credits for donations to pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, & support for trafficking victims.
As Sub-Chairman, I had the privilege of helping steer it through the process & getting it finalized.
These organizations provide critical services to those who need it most. Diapers, formula, testing, ultrasounds, clothes, housing, & more. They help reduce burden on public services to support the community. They also help build on our culture of life, in a collaborative way.
