It's great to see @SecWar @PeteHegseth has officially designated Chinese-funded Confucius Institutes as a national security threat. 14 years ago, @StevenWMosher and I recommended the same:

AID spent billions of *our* taxpayer money to spread abortion, population control, gender ideology, and globalism throughout the Third World.
It was also a corrupt money-laundering machine.
Trump shut it down and fired thousands of bureacrats making mid-six figures who now can't find a job on the street.
They're mad as Hell and they aren't going to take it any more.
They learned a lot from the corrupt tyrants they got to know, and they're now planning to take down our Republic. They've done it over there, why not do it over here?
Typical DC bureaucrat snobs who hate our country.
And they hate us too.
Get ready, they're coming.
Former USAID employees are big mad.
On July 1, 2025, USAID was abolished, 12,000 employees terminated, 90 percent of its programs cancelled, the rest absorbed into the State Department.
The former population controllers gathered in Bogota at FP2030 to create a new governing structure with funding from Gates and others.
The former "democracy promoters" gathered online to plot a new government for the United States. Where is their funding coming from????

It is outrageous and absurd to claim that retributive justice (e.g., capital punishment for capital crimes) = returning evil for evil.
Whether they realize it or not, they’re essentially accusing God Himself of being evil, since He is the author of the death penalty (read the Bible).
As we mark again the World Day Against the Death Penalty, we call to mind God’s command: ‘do not repay anyone evil for evil.’ (Romans 12:17)
Amidst a culture that seems focused on death, we remember that no person is beyond God’s love, mercy and redemption, as Archbishop Shelton J Fabre, reminds us. The Church offers this message to all people - without exception. We mourn with victims’ families and also recognize that the death penalty only pulls us away from a culture of life.
Join us in prayer for an end to the use of the death penalty in our country and around the world, and for the conversion of all hearts and minds towards a culture of life.

Author of 'The Devil and Communist China: From Mao Down to Xi,' @StevenWMosher, on CCP agents harassing demonstrators on American soil:
"Nobody wants to come out and celebrate Xi Jinping unless they're bused in, given food, and paid to be there. So I think that shows the level of unpopularity of Xi Jinping among the people who know him best — the Chinese diaspora."

Mosher also discusses the global AI race, explaining why China would leverage AI regulations to hamstring the U.S. while secretly advancing its own strategic capabilities.

@StevenWMosher was on @FoxBusiness this morning with host #stuartvarney (@Varneyco) discussing issues to be addressed between @realDonaldTrump & #CCP’s #XiJinping.
Very insightful.
Xi Jinping has two big problems with #AI. First, the US is now more advanced in the area. Greater power. Second, & perhaps more importantly, AI could cause the #CCP’s monopoly on information to collapse. If Chinese AI algorithms went nuts & revealed forbidden information about history, politics, Communist corruption, etc., this regime might be overthrown.

“If 800,000 dead Americans from fentanyl since 2013 isn’t enough to have an American president stand up to the Chinese and say the fentanyl comes from China.”
“Then nothing is.”
Grant Newsham hopes President Trump embraces a Reagan like approach during his upcoming summit with Xi Jinping.
Stand firm and make clear that fentanyl from China is killing Americans.
“Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.”
“You remember the speech that Reagan gave where he said, ‘Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.’”
“It was the right thing to say.”
“It was a powerful statement because an American president really had the nerve to stand up instead of always thinking, ‘Well, how can we calm things down? How can we de-escalate? How can we just get along?’”
“Sometimes you have to stand up.”

Nothing to see here.
Blackrock, yes, that @BlackRock, is having a retreat at a resort owned by the Chinese Communist Party. The ritzy retreat is at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in California. The resort is owned by Dajia Insurance Group - a Chinese state-owned firm.
BlackRock foolishly encourages global investors to invest in Communist China, even though rule of law is nonexistent and corruption is the norm.
