We've schedule an avalanche control mission for US 2 Stevens Pass Saturday (1/27) at 4AM. To complete the work safely, we hold traffic at MP 58 on the west side and MP 64 on the eastside. Missions take anywhere from 30 min- 2 hrs. Please plan accordingly. @wspd6pio @StevensPass

We're cleaning up on US 2 Stevens after a successful avalanche control mission, with a loader clearing the road at Old Faithful and a blower and two graders headed to Big Windy. Once that's done our plows will head in to clean up. Thank you for your continued patience. @wspd6pio

❗️US 2 Stevens Pass is closed from MP 58-80 on 1/17 at 1PM due to multiple spin outs even as the winter storm picks up pace. Crews are currently working to clear vehicles and a small slide at Tunnel Point west of the summit. Updates to come for those waiting at @StevensPass.

Crews have reopened US 2 Stevens Pass at 4:45PM (1/11) with CHAINS REQUIRED. It's busy at the summit where ski traffic is heading home, so we need drivers to be alert and drive for conditions while congestion clears, and give plenty of room for other our plows and other drivers. – at Sunnyslope, WA

Crews have reopened US 2 Stevens Pass as of 11:30AM (1/10) with CHAINS REQUIRED on all vehicles except AWD. Even with AWD/chains we need you to drive for conditions, headlights on & give our crews & fellow travelers plenty of room. *Work going well on Blewett Pass but no ETA yet. – at Wenatchee, WA
