Shenzhen gold hub sees crowds as spot prices slip below $4,000/oz
Gold prices fell over the weekend, and the Shuibei market — a gold jewelry manufacturing and trading hub in the southern metropolis of Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province — saw a surge of visitors. Photos posted by netizens on Chinese social media platforms showed some aisles so crowded that people could barely move.
Netizens flooded the platforms with posts like "There are more people here buying gold than you'd find at a vegetable market," while "booming" and "packed with people" became buzzwords. (Global Times)

It's subtle, but it's there.
#silver has a positive divergence developing on the RSI. The price is setting a marginally lower low, while the RSI is not. This doesn't mean it can't fall any further, but it does mean that the sellers are becoming exhausted. Unless something fundamental changes, the price is about to bottom.

🔥Silver Flows Back Into India as Import Curbs Ease Before Diwali
🚨INDIA EASES IMPORT RESTRICTIONS ON SILVER AS GLOBAL SILVER SUPPLIES TIGHTEN
"India’s silver imports are set to rebound in time for the busiest jewelry-buying season after the government issued a raft of new permits, easing restrictions that had stifled shipments to one of the world’s biggest markets.
Traders and bank dealers this week received quotas covering as much as 6,000 tons of silver, according to four people familiar with the matter. The permits are valid for six months, said the people, who asked not to be named because they’re not allowed to speak publicly."

The mining industry is the most profitable sector... And no one seems to care.
Mining as a percentage of portfolio allocations sits at just 1%.
At the same time, it is becoming increasingly clear that inflation will be the defining theme for at least this decade.
During the inflationary 70s, you either owned hard assets or you were left behind.
I expect history to repeat itself.

Gold has already corrected nearly as much as it did in 2008.
Yet many are acting as if the selloff has only just begun.
I see an opportunity.
If this is the secular bull market I believe it is, we won’t get many chances to buy after a pullback like this, in my view.
