This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while
If I’m Daryl Morey, here’s how I would fix the Sixers TODAY:
1. Trade Joel Embiid to the Kings for Sabonis.
-attach picks if we have to just need to get out of the contract. Sabonis is still an ELITE rebounder and rim protector
2. Trade Jaylen Brown & Dean Wade to the Raptors for RJ Barrett & Quickley.
-RJ & IQ are both rising stars with much higher ceilings. They are a better fit for our younger timeline. Getting another superstar guard in Quickley makes Tyrese Maxey expendable.
3. Swap Tyrese Maxey for Paolo.
-Paolo still has #1 potential waiting to be unlocked and Maxey is peaking so we would be selling him high for a generational superstar. This would be a no brainer.
4. Package Simons & Philon for Quentin Grimes
-Grimes proved last year he will be in this league for a long time. Sixers should realize now they let a good one go and pay a little extra to get him back where he belongs. He would develop into the best POA defender in the league playing next to Barrett.
