Youd get it in before Mr stamina could use his stamina.
Same logic as wrestlers who are too lean.
Eventually You’re gonna run into a guy who is just as conditioned but way stronger.

Thanks and of course.
For those interested, I started at 210 lbs at the end of May.
So about a 30 lbs gain to my 5-6 rep max in 5 month. And I was not a perfect human along the way (diet and lifestyle wise).

Not bad for only getting back into seriously lifting 6 months ago.

Hot Take
Put a baseball player in any sport and he will compete
Put an athlete from any other sport into baseball and they aren’t able to compete

Unrelated but Thank you for pushing low rep training. After 9 years in the Gym doing 10-12 reps, I was just bouncing off the ceiling making no progress. I switched Chest and OHP to low reps and I'm getting stronger again.

I’ve seen pull-ups have been a heated discussion recently on the timeline
My take?
Do them on whatever bar you want, in whatever grip you want and how many you want
Tall, short, heavy, skinny, whatever shape and training style you do
If you do pull-ups (assisted or not) you’re cool
This pretentious attitude of “my way is superior than yours” is often what keeps people away from getting better

Lifting while traveling - Tip #1.
You must have a plan. Be intentional or you will skip days.
I never start a trip without knowing what barbell gyms I will go to on lift day. I use the barbellnomad.com search feature to make my list of gyms for the trip. Often times I even use the workout planning feature to have at least the next workout planned. Because Barbell Nomad knows what kind of equipment is available at any gym I can be confident that I will successfully complete my planned exercises, I just need to walk into the gym as planned.
Thanks to @MalachiONeill for encouraging me to post my tips. More to come.

I’m just less tired when I hit heavy sets of 3-5 than I am trying to max out 10 rep sets constantly. Stronger/fresher, less overall fatigue.

Bodybuilders fixate on adding volume. The far more important metrics are:
A) lift more weight the same distance in the same length of time.
B) lift the same amount of weight a greater distance in the same length of time.
C) lift the same weight the same distance in less time.

315 x 5 Clean and Press
Grinder set today after missing a PR. Absolutely the most gutted I’ve ever felt after a set of anything.
Love seeing strength being able to repeat and reload rep after rep.
