Many medical students and aspiring radiologists ask me what they can expect to earn in a salaried radiology job in India. Rather than give one number, I’d like to hear from fellow radiologists working in the field. Radiologists in India: what is your monthly salary from your employed role? Please include salaried hospital or diagnostic-centre work only; exclude income from your own setup or separate private practice.
Replying to @sumersethi
What is the average median income of a Radiologist in a job ? Like in a Corporate Hospital, Diagnostic Centre etc. Not their own set up - bcoz, then its just a business set up. Not just professional income.

And cute thing is they can participate in both 50 service seats and the remaining 50 percent open seats woww
Welcome to Tamilnadu. Monish-AIR 1 NEET PG 2026. BUT he is Rank 3 in TN, because in-service get 18-20% incentive in their score. In addition to this, they also get big majority of state seats reserved for them. Being a non service candidate here is a CURSE. #medtwitter #neetpg

There are many so-called “5-star” doctors whose primary activities appear limited to the following: • Appeasing government officials in reality by bashing fellow doctors. • Publicly criticizing fellow doctors to project themselves as morally and professionally superior, while claiming they alone care for patients and labeling the rest as corrupt. • Remaining silent on critical issues such as increasing medical seats, improving government infrastructure, and addressing violence against doctors. • Aspiring to lead the medical community solely through social media, without undertaking any substantive work on the ground. Everyone wants to become a leader and collect awards.

You want us to study for 15+ years, drown in lakhs of education loans at 13% interest, survive brutal residency and sacrifice prime years, only to cap our salaries? You want healthcare on a bargain-bin budget while pretending doctors owe you a lifetime of financial sacrifice.
India need to either cap doctor's salary at 2.5 LPM and bring private sector reservation inside hospitals. or Make 1 crore specialist doctors. Anything above 2LPM should be ESOP and insurance premium. No rationale at capping drug margins without doctor salary capping.

When I go to CT room and the pgs are screaming “ close the room u are venting out the cold air ,with music in the background working infront of mac studio” thats when I said “babe I am coming”
Genuine question for those pursuing Radio: How did you realise it was the right branch for you when MBBS/internship offers such limited exposure? #MedTwitter #neetpgcounselling #Radiology

This image has been going viral, but I think it says very little about what truly defines success in medicine. From my own experience, I have come to realise that success has very little to do with how popular a specialty is. In fact, some of the most accomplished and inspiring peers I know belong to branches that are among the least preferred in such rankings. Every specialty offers opportunities to excel, innovate, lead, and make a meaningful difference. What matters is what we choose to make of those opportunities. Your rank may determine where you begin, but it certainly does not determine how far you can go.

30-30 🤣Tn has 30 percent increase and 50 percent vacancies man now I realise my state is so doomed🤣
Not only the in- service candidates get 30% increase in marks, they also have 30% vacancies for them that's like a win win situation.

My friends who alloted in dnb are having streamlined process while people with gmc are suffering? Who is to blame?
🚨 NEET PG 2026 Counselling: How many administrative failures must students tolerate? ▪️ FLOAT candidates being asked to physically report despite MCC’s online verification guidelines. ▪️ Nodal officers unfamiliar with newly introduced rules. ▪️ MCC’s grievance email [email protected] returning “Inbox out of storage space.” ▪️ Earlier website disruptions and Round 1 provisional result PDF withdrawn and replaced. Even more concerning, UDF had flagged non-functional NMC-PGMEB email addresses with evidence dating back to January 2025 and formally escalated the issue in September 2026. Yet the problem remains unresolved. If authorities cannot ensure correct instructions, accurate results and even functioning email inboxes, how can students trust the counselling process? UDF demands immediate corrective action, proper training of nodal officers, restoration of grievance channels and an independent inquiry into repeated administrative failures. NEET PG counselling is not a trial-and-error exercise. Doctors’ careers are at stake! @ANI @PTI_News @ians_india @timesofindia @htTweets @ndtv @TOIIndiaNews @the_hindu @NewIndianXpress @timesofindia @indiatvnews @ThePrintIndia @DainikBhaskar #NEETPG2026 #NEETPGCounselling #MCC
