It's 2026. We've got foldable iPhones, flying cars, robotaxis with nobody driving, and a second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners before GTA 6 🤣

if we base it on achievements, iconic features and sales it's Eminem but if we talking about lyricism, global recognition, influence and skills it’s still Eminem
Learned this over 10 years ago. Still true. I remember it was 2015ish when hangouts was a fucking mess on android but ran fine on iOS.
I wonder how fast apple is going to hold the majority of foldable market share?
Buying an iPhone Duo? Do these steps and thank me later.
• Buy it offline.
• Unbox it at an Apple Store.
• Ask an Apple employee to witness the unboxing.
• Fold and unfold it repeatedly during setup.
• Repeat everything after booting.
Don’t leave the store until your Duo survives its first durability test. 💀
The Star Wars prequels are the most influential pop culture thing ever. Don’t care what you think about the dialogue, acting, CGI etc. it just is

Kids today will never understand the power this little icon held back in 2014
I can use my ram for more shit than just running model 🤦🏼♂️
I Agree with Sam Altman.
First of all, local models are useless, they're dumb and slow
You'll spend ~$1000 on 128 GB RAM to run a local model
And you won't get anything done with it, dumb models at 8tps are useless
A $20 subscription will get more things done
And for 95% of the time, RAM is not being used so it's doing less work there compared to in a data centre where utility is more
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Local models on suitable 128GB hardware often run at 30+ tokens/second and offer practical uses; 128GB DDR5 RAM kits currently start above $2200, not ~$1000.

It’s horrible that you have food in your pantry. It’s horrible that you have money saved. It’s so horrible you should own nothing and be happy
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

A master of his craft. The shot compositions, the world building, the set design, the SFX, everything.
I literally do not understand boomers and millennials who look at the prequels and say wow this sucks and is lame.
Literally the most influential movies in the last 50 years. They forced modern blockbusters into the digital age! Greenscreen worlds, CG characters etc. when this is done right it’s pretty awesome Mustafar and Davy Jones are great examples. Not to mention the incredible influence on pop culture
