I think we saw today that Brock Purdy is still not the upper echelon QB people make him out to be. Some really awful throws in that game, bad decisions. Commanders and Seahawks showed you that the 49ers are beatable. Falcons finally slayed the dragon of 2026. Now, they have a bye and we’ll see how they respond to being made to bleed for the first time this year.

People probably think I'm on a Brandin Cooks bashing train the last 3 weeks - more, pointing out how hard it is to integrate a WR during the season. Each week we're seeing these kinds of things from him. Again, he nearly runs into Kittle on the route and it disrupts both of them and the pass falls incomplete.

See this is some bullshit. Kyle and the 49ers are expected to be good so you’re gonna vote for Monken because a predator is his QB.
At least he doesn’t have a vote but this is a huge talking point for voters.
Nothing against Shanahan, but the 49ers were expected to be good. The Vikings, Browns and Giants not so much. So it’s more impressive what those 3 are doing right now even with all the injuries. Shanahan gets plenty of love. Reminds me of Andy Reid in Philly. Now it’s about getting the big one done with all his previous success, not the COY award.
