People probably think I'm on a Brandin Cooks bashing train the last 3 weeks - more, pointing out how hard it is to integrate a WR during the season. Each week we're seeing these kinds of things from him. Again, he nearly runs into Kittle on the route and it disrupts both of them and the pass falls incomplete.

One recurrent theme in watching Cooks and Cowing on the all 22 over the last 2 games. Neither have any idea what depth they’re supposed to get to. Just both constantly in the wrong spot. ESPECIALLY Cooks.

The 49ers offense ranked 2nd in EPA per play with Mike Evans at .193. They fall to -0.055 EPA per play without him in 6 quarters. That's alarming but not concerning if and when reinforcements come back.

Think this is on Cowing mostly. He looks like he stops running to the sideline. Need the all22 to see what happened to his route but if the QB is scrambling, you run to the sideline there and don't stop. Did he slip or something?
