SUPPORTING OUR FARMWORKERS & THEIR FAMILIES!🌱🩺 Huge turnout today with over 400 people in attendance for the California Life Sciences’ 3rd Annual Farmworker Health Fair at Sherwood Hall in Salinas, right here in my district!👏🏽 Thank you to Aracely Campa, California Life Sciences, and all the healthcare providers, community partners, sponsors and volunteers who brought free health services and resources to our farmworker families. Special thanks to Driscoll’s, Taylor Farms, and Tanimura & Antle for donating fresh produce and Esperanza Community Farms for providing your organic produce to families in need.🍓🥬 🥦 Our farmworkers help feed the nation and sustain our local economy. They deserve quality healthcare and to know that they are valued, appreciated and supported, especially during these challenging times. The Lions Club provided free glasses to many local residents in need, including this worker who had his first pair of glasses in his life. This made it all worth it, and so many also got their vision needs taken care of. 🤓 Dozens of others took advantage of the legal consultations as well. Thank you to UFW Foundation and the Watsonville Law Center.🙏🏽⚖️ Monterey County stands with our farmworker and immigrant families. ¡Siempre con el pueblo!✊🏽

NYT: Latinos Are Now America’s Most Important Swing Voters In the 1990s, politicians fought for the support of soccer moms. In the 2010s, they competed for votes from white working-class voters. Now it is clear: Latinos are the most important swing voters of the 2020s Democrats have made gains with Latinos over the past two years, winning back trust with a crucial group of voters who helped fuel President Trump’s return to the White House in 2024. Latino voters now favor Democrats over Republicans by 30 percentage points, according to the latest New York Times/Siena poll nytimes.com/2026/10/25/us/po…

🚨TAKE ACTION ON THE 2030 CENSUS! 📢⚖️ California counties, cities and local leaders are urged to submit comments opposing a proposed federal rule that would exclude entire categories of immigrants from the 2030 U.S. Census. The proposed federal rule would, among other things: 🚫 Count only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, excluding other immigrants, including visa holders, DACA recipients, Temporary Protected Status holders and asylum applicants. 🚫 Prohibit questions about race, ethnicity and sexual orientation on questionnaires used for the census count. These changes will undermine fair representation, jeopardize funding for essential local services and limit the data communities need to protect civil rights and plan for the future. Our local governments serve all residents regardless of immigration status, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation. EVERYONE deserves to be counted!✍️ @CSAC_Counties @NACoCounties 🗓️ SUBMIT COMMENTS BEFORE THE NOVEMBER 2, 2026 DEADLINE.⚖️ NACo’s action page provides an analysis, sample letters and instructions for submitting comments. Make your community’s voice heard! 👉 TAKE ACTION HERE: naco.org/resource/2030-decen…

This is devastating for Republicans. Hispanics are showing up in record numbers.
As turnout in Texas nears 3 million votes, Hispanic turnout is now exceeding presidential levels. More Hispanics have voted than did at this point in the 2024 presidential election. What's driving this huge increase? Young voters.

Watch this clip and pay close attention to what Latino voters are saying The first voter expresses her regret but stops short of saying she won’t vote Republican again. More importantly listen to the last interview with the construction worker. Man…wow!
