After a short hiatus, delighted to share @SurgicalScarf x @RCSnews theatre podcast on the perspectives of Muslim hijabi women in surgery! Theatre dress code is still an ongoing issue in many local hospitals, if you're having problems regarding hijab, we‘d love to hear from you!

1 week today! As part of our 'Situated Hair' series we'll be joined by @drAzra_ (@SurgicalScarf) and @zinaalfa (@UBhair_) who will talk about their work to end hair discrimination in surgical theatres and the wider workplace Sign up here: bristol-ac-uk.zoom.us/webina…
5/ Surgery is becoming an increasingly diverse specialty with NO room for discrimination and racism. Trainees should be welcomed from all walks of life, irrespective of gender, faith, and whether they wear a theatre cap or a headscarf on their head!
