SKATE 2 GOT A FULL RUST REWRITE 🚨
This is EASILY the best rewrite I've ever seen, and it shows what's possible with some time and effort.
The creator, wispp, has rebuilt Skate 2 from the ground up as a native PC game for Windows, Linux and Steam Deck. It's not an emulator or a recompilation. It's the game's real physics, animation and city rebuilt in Rust, with an uncapped frame rate.
He even rebuilt the netcode. The original desynced whole lobbies, but now online play is way smoother, with up to 8 skaters, a lobby browser and chat.
Free skate, Party Play and online are all playable right now 👇

People who treat their music taste as the “correct” one aren’t just annoying, they’re bad for the scene. That mindset turns music into a hierarchy instead of a conversation, pushes out new listeners, and discourages artists from experimenting or even just fuckin having fun because a self appointed elite is ready to tear down anything outside their definition of “real” or “good.”

The ‘ABSOLUTE BATMAN’ series will now be 2D animated with some 3D elements instead of just 3D animated.
