Bitcoin just got a quantum survival plan, and it can save everyone's coins except Satoshi's 1.1 million BTC worth over $70 billion, which can't be rescued. And here's the whole story. WHY ? The Problem: → Every time you spend bitcoin, your public key gets exposed on-chain, forever which is a feature in itself → But a strong enough quantum computer can crack exposed keys and drain those wallets → Current estimates, 34% of all bitcoin roughly $420B, which is 6.5M BTC sits exposed today → Attackers can collect keys now and crack them later & you might not even know the attack happened The fix, BIP-361 proposal (drafted by @lopp and 5 co-authors, live on Bitcoin's github). Think of this as condemning a building in two steps. → Step one 3 years in: old vulnerable addresses stop accepting deposits. You can still move coins OUT to new quantum-safe addresses, but nothing new goes IN so the at-risk pile stops growing → Step two 5 years in: moving old coins now needs an extra proof that you're the real owner, because by then a quantum attacker with your cracked key looks exactly like you → Can't produce the proof, or never migrated? your coins are stuck & that's the freeze And the rescue tool, just unveiled by @projecteleven, answers the obvious question, how do you prove you're the real owner and not a quantum thief ? → Your seed phrase, the 12 or 24 words, sits above your keys, and quantum computers can't crack it → The tool lets you mathematically prove "I know this wallet's seed" without ever revealing it. Real owner passes, attacker fails → Runs in a quarter of a second on a laptop, and covers basically every seed-phrase wallet, which is everything made since 2012 But Why Satoshi's coins are the exception ? → Satoshi's coins were mined in 2009, before seed phrases existed → Every key was generated independently, there's no seed for the proof to verify → Nothing to prove, nothing to rescue. Same for many of bitcoin's oldest dormant or OG wallets here So every modern holder can migrate but the oldest stack in existence can't. So that leaves one choice, freeze Satoshi's coins forever or leave them as a $70B bounty for whoever builds the quantum computer first. And here's the part that gets me. The proposal quotes Satoshi himself to justify it "lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone" So they're using the man's own words to freeze his coins. Though this is still a draft with no activation date & rescue tool are audited. But this is the biggest debate bitcoin has had since the blocksize wars, and very few are noticing it. github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob…

Total memecoin market cap is down from its $150B peak in late 2024 to around $30B now. Value is only focused on some and few survivors coins, and most new coins goes to 0 in an eye blink.

Elon is gona give one SpaceX share to “every kid in America” next year. With roughly 72 million kids under 18yrs in the US and current price of $SPCX at $146, it will cost him $10.5 billion, assuming the share price remains unchanged. Hate/Love him, but definitely cant ignore him !!!
Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.

While CPI inflation up to 3.7%, inflation is much higher in many crucial categories: 1. Fuel Oil Inflation: +74.2% 2. Gasoline Inflation: +34.2% 3. Airline Fares Inflation: +22.4% 4. Car Repair Inflation: +5.8% 5. Hospital Services Inflation: +5.6% 6. Utility Gas Inflation: +5.0% 7. Electricity Inflation: +4.4% 8. Fruits and Vegetables Inflation: +3.7% This marks the 67th-straight month with US CPI inflation above the Fed's 2% target. After 5+ years of persistent inflation, the top 1% of US households are now worth ~14 TIMES the bottom 50%. Affordability is still getting worse.

The trenches extraction is surreal, this is blatant robbery of value from the value coin by pumpfun dev
the top 25 pumpfun deployers: > launched 770k tokens > extracted $128M from the trenches > produced only 6 tokens with a 20M+ MC that's $128M extracted just by 25 devs

$USDC reserves just started funding HYPE buybacks. Hyperliquid received its first $14.58M payment under AQAv2. What is AQA v2 ? - Users and market makers deposit USDC on Hyperliquid to trade - A big chunk of that USDC sits in the official treasury (Coinbase deploys it, Circle runs the tech) - HL charges 3.2% a year on that treasury balance - The operators pay it to HL, not a fee taken from your/traders wallet - Money goes to the Assistance Fund for hyperliquid:native buybacks Why it matters for HL: - New revenue source on top of trading fees - More activity → bigger pot → more buybacks - More USDC on the chain → more buybacks, without raising fees

🚨 TODAY’S US JOBS REPORT IS NOT REALLY ABOUT JOBS. It’s about whether the bond market gets another excuse to push yields even higher. US 10Y yields have already touched 5.34%, the highest since 2002. Brent is still above $100. The dollar is strong. Gold is heading for a second straight weekly loss. Stocks are wobbling. Yet the market has cut the probability of an October Fed hike to roughly 26–28%. Sounds dovish? Not really. Markets are still pricing around an 80% chance of another hike by December. That is the important bit. We haven’t necessarily killed the tightening cycle. We may have just pushed the next hike back. Today economists expect roughly 90,000 jobs, with unemployment holding at 4.1%. If payrolls come in hot, the market has a very simple problem: Oil above $100. Inflation still sticky. Labour market still holding up. Fed still uncomfortable. And a bond market already questioning whether rates need to stay higher for longer. That is why I’m watching yields first today. Not the headline payroll number. The number is not the trade. What it does to rate expectations is the trade.

🚨NEW: The @SECGov just updated its crypto FAQ on token buybacks to add a stipulation that if there is no central party behind those token buybacks, then this arrangement likely does not constitute an investment contract. It comes following comments from @a16zcrypto General Counsel and Head of Policy @milesjennings last week that the prior wording could “empower an issuer to announce the buyback program without that announcement then creating an investment contract.”
🚨NEW: SEC staff has issued new FAQs clarifying how the Commission’s March interpretive release on digital assets applies to token functionality, staking receipt tokens and investment contracts. Among the guidance: once a network is functional, services to maintain, improve or grow it generally would not count as “essential managerial efforts” under the Howey test. The FAQs reflect staff views and have no legal force or effect.

#Bitget hacked for 350million, CEO says North Korean hackers behing it, but promises to refund the losses via the insurance fund. Good move by Bitget
Here is what we can confirm at this stage: On the attack: Our security team has made initial progress in tracing the source. The attacker compromised a critical backend system within our wallet infrastructure, used it to spoof transaction data, and triggered our authorization process to move funds out. Private key compromise has been ruled out — this excludes the more severe risk scenarios. Loss containment is confirmed. No further unauthorized transfers are possible. The specific method of system intrusion remains under active investigation. A full technical report will follow once confirmed. On withdrawal restoration: Multiple technical teams are working in parallel on system remediation and security hardening. Withdrawal restoration is being prepared in parallel. We will announce a timeline as soon as one is confirmed — we will not commit to a window we cannot guarantee.
