This is outrageous - how many kids over the years have been inspired to follow science after a trip to Jodrell Bank?
It's a national gem and an internationally recognised asset.
Here's an idea - keep funding Jodrell and stop funding nonsense woke projects, stop sending money to countries with arms programmes who choose weapons over their own people and refuse public funds for people who come over in small boats.
That should leave a bob or two to keep Jodrell open.
